Yeahh, that sadly doesn't work. You can only use one of those. I tried it once while hunting for foraging and lost my hunter's horn. Learned the hard wayy.

Anyone else getting really bad stuttering? Doesn't seem to be a hardware issue for my PC. Lowering settings doesn't do anything but sometimes swapping to Direct X 11 fixes it for a while (until the game randomly swaps it back) If I leave the zone and come back it usually fixes it. Just really frustrating playing a slideshow. Especially when it decides to start mid hunt on a disco deer or in the tower or something

I can't cook. I select a recipe and it starts but when I try to chop ingredients, it breaks.

Sometimes I can't click at all and I have to close out of the station. Pressing the mouse button does nothing at all. When it does randomly decide to work, as soon as I press the mouse button once, my character draws an invisible bow and the cooking minigame screen disappears.

X removes your highlighted tool and bar item. So, if you have your hoe out and then select a seed it'll remove the seed from being highlighted and then your hoe.

You basically want to unselect everything with the use of X and it should prevent any issues.

oh gosh, the key mapping. I had issues with it when they finally made map pinging re-mappable, and then it basically made a giant white beam of light come out every time I tried to set a waypoint.

But upon returning it seems they updated the controls because now you can change the keybind to access work stations. I prefer to have my interact key to E instead of F and I think I broke it trying to change it.

Yeah idk if they just didn't code different instances correctly so any overlapping keys messes it up. LIke using left click for multiple things depending on what menus you're in/not in

You didn't break it, they did. They've messed up remapping when they finally allowed controllers to be re-mappable. PC now has a ton of issues with it.

It's because the keys are multi-functional and some of those functions just... don't overlap.

Like the use of control to activate your housing menu now crashing if you press it with a honey lure out. (while in town, I should add)

In testing, I've found that F removes you from the menu still and allows you to go back and immediately chop, but I have yet to get stuck at the stove with infinite spinning.

Chop/roll I should say because it happened with corn, too.

We made 5 muujin baharis and i still didn't get stuck at the stove

The interact key also works to get you unstuck from the stove. (Braised fish is a good test for this)

@spring flicker the garden will grow one growth cycle when you log out and then stop. When you say un till do you mean remove the plantings. Till the ground will never until except when harvesting. There is a way to remove the plantings when you've made a mistake.

The only available option for me to craft in Fabric Loom right now is only Leather and Fabric.

They are definitely there, just rare because its a small spawn area. My trick to getting the mantis was to pop a buzz jar, run by the shrine and if no hits, run into bahari to change servers, then turn around and load back into kilima. Run back up to the shrine, then back to bahari if no hits. Found it pretty quick!

i have a question that’s really bothering me because i feel like my game glitched… I just finished the vaults of the roots bundle and ofc I got the reward for finishing the bundle but the last bundle i turned in to trigger completion was the fruits of the earth bundle… i had only 100 apples in my inventory so obviously i contributed them all… but after i turned them in an completed the bundle… i still had 43 apples in my inventory.

yea I had a issues with this quest as well there's quests you have to do before going over there once you can talk to Zeki he will activate it so you can glide over

Technically you only need 10. I have no idea what the reward is for getting all 15, because I ran out of patience at 13 or 14.

But there are 2 side quests for the sisters (in addition to the evidence collection ones) that also need to be finished.

This is the second time I've gotten frozen during cooking and even trying to go into the house editor didn't work. The recipe failed and I lost all my stuff. it's stuff from one plot loading into another. you're switching plots too quickly. I'm on switch and noticed you have to let a plot load fully before you move so if you choose one plot then change your mind while it's still loading, the loading queue loads stuff into the new plot you've chosen, if that makes sense

the lamps and grown trees are particularly annoying and you'll have to manually move them back

When a tree or flower is ripe, i.e. when a seed could be harvested, does the seed remain on the plant until it is harvested or does it disappear at some point?

Yeah the game doesnt force you to be social. But Community purposeful events would be great indeed! I suggested so many things already, like puzzle dungeons for parties with rare resources as loot, or building a community house in the City (Bahari City if it ever releases!), gaining access to the Docks and be able to build a Ship together as a community, with your own banners and stuff!

i've been doing a loop in bahari like this based on those stats. i used to do a loop around kilima lake and coast and then bounce between the kilima ponds at night, but i like this one better, i feel like bahari rivers have more hotspots and i like being able to keep an eye out for palium and stuff on the way

So... a bit of a first world problem but.. im a bit overwhelmed when it comes to decorating. Maybe because ive done and redone it alot, with every update that added new housing plot stuff, and now i sortof feel burned out about it?

Essentially i feel like just scrapping it all, but thats maybe not smart either. I just feel like its "useless" starting it because i still have to unlock pretty much all the wallpapers from the skillshops, havent really crafted many furniture sets either, and then there are the villagers' unlocks that i have let slack off. I dont know what ill all unlock but there is more to unlock than i have in my storage/crafter.

At the same time, i would like to live/use a pretty charming and fairylike home while im playing through the game? I just get overwhelmed when thinking about it so then i do nothing. I dont have any ideas. And if i have ideas, i dont feel the "calm" to implement them because i feel they're not gonna be that nice, i mean i know theyre not gonna be that nice, whenever i see pics of others i just feel overwhelmed because i can never ever make it that nice in my own way.

Someone should create some sort of palia decorating tool that asks you questions and then gives advice based on how you filled it out. Things like "Would you like all your farming and crafting and living area to be on one plot or on multiple separate plots?" - "Would you like one big house on your plot, or would you prefer smaller areas?"

Cooking Steak dinner is bugged, you cannot flip the meat when you click the dot at the circle and keeps going endlessly resulting in failures everytime

the flipping minigame controls are confusing - you're supposed to hold the button down to start the minigame and keep it held down until the dot reaches the circle, have you tried that? i think people do have issues with this minigame being bugged, but sometimes it's just the controls

Depends on what you're aiming to get I think. Ticket and Outskirts is good for cicadas and dragonflies, and the accident beetle. The beach is good for Crabs, snails, and both fireflies. Idk about the rainbow butterfly. Moths, common blues, crickets, and such will be the most found either way

Are there specific spots for palium ore? I'm struggling on getting my hands on enough for my tools and quests. I know they used to show up in the mines and caves, but there's never any there when I look, and I can only find any if someone's nice enough to shoot a flare and call it out. it can spawn basically anywhere iron spawns now. and there are only 8 palium nodes on the map at once so it's pretty hard to track them down unaided. i recommend using an ore compass because they changed it to only point to palium and large iron. you'll need mining lvl 8 to get the recipe from hodari

u can simply remove the shift from placement mode if u didn't change it by now, I changed the X/Y axis thing to alt like it was before and multiselect does nothing atm so not required to have an important key

Anyone else having issues not being able to log on a new server? I've tried everything... relogging multiple times, using the fast travel board from bahari to kilima and back, fast travel from my map to my plot, going out to bahari from my plot, going to kilima and back to bahari through the entrance, waiting a few minutes between all those different senarios.... nothing is working, I keep being put back in the same exact server, I know this because there are 2 flow tress in the area I keep going back to. It's frustrating as heck. This has been going on for the past hour.

that typically means there isnt a lot of new servers open for the map you want. Could be very few players are online in your region so theres only 1 server open, or the 2nd server is full and this server is the only one with space

Typically Ima switch player and dont have these two problems, but Ive been try8ing to play on my PC the last couple days.
When i water plants, the water meter doesnt automtically come up for things rthat need watering. I have so many flowers and I have no clue which ones need watering or not.
The second issue is that I'm trying to plant tomatoes, and the a button either isnt activating, or idk what elkse, it's selectively letting me plant randfomly, but wont other times?? I tested my a button on other things and those work, just not with planting in my farming squares :<
Neither of these things happen to me on the swithc.
