Hey, I wanted to ask a question here about something that just happened in game involving a player (Nothing bad from the other player, don't worry). I was mining copper ore and 2 times I had a player (Might've been the same one both times, didn't check the name the first time) approach me when I was almost done. I stepped away from the ore and let them mine it, which they then finished it and walked away. My concern is, did they get anything from this? I don't know if they picked loot up since I still got some, and I want to make sure I didn't steal their loot after they walked away

Is the “Prove your Generosity” quest bugged? I swear I’ve done more than 5 player request but it still says 0/5

If no one has mined the node players share progress on mining it, but if it has been smashed 2 players that show up afterward will have to bust it individually. The only difference is that only in the former case the loot is identical, but in either case you're sampling the same loot table. So on average they're the same, so it's totally neutral.

Is it possible that you're looking at the box for "fulfill five weekly villager item requests", since you have to do both?

Sometimes when I click to fulfil a request the button goes grey and then comes back with no effect. So the request wasn't fulfilled and I just have to click again.

You can also ask their favorite or what another person favorite is. Y on the switch not sure about PC.

I happened to learn how to take them down the day before they went missing and was able to request meat for when I done the quest.

there’s a yellow ring around your tool, you can repair it any time by going to the blacksmith anvil (or if you had one on your own plot) if that ring reaches 0 and it down grades you have to remake the next tool (so you wanna avoid letting that happen and repairing before it runs out) i usually repair if their at half cuz then i get too low for comfort

I haven't ever seen one up on the hill over the grove either. If you find out the time they spawn between, I think I have a honey lure I can help with.

You buy additional plots through housing menu. You start off with one plot then can buy more. The housing 2 gazebo unlocks after you have five plots 🫠 which means spending about 200,000 coin. But you don’t need to put a harvest house on them so if you don’t actually want more plots you can save your coin by not buying the building

i haven’t deliberately tested it (i’m about to replant my entire garden tho so i can get back to u in a few days if i remember!) but in my experience you always get at least one quality crop with quality seeds so i’d say you’re better off focusing on harvest boost and water retain if you’re planting all quality seeds

star seeds give +50% chance of getting star crops, and you also get +2% per gardening level. (e.g. level 25 using star seeds = 50+(25x2)=100% chance of star crops). if you're close to 100% then yeah there isn't really much point

usually when people have issues with this minigame, it's because they are using the wrong controls - can you check if this is the problem first? you need to hold down the button to start, then keep it held down and release it when it reaches the white circle. it does not work if you click once to start, then let go and try to click again on the white circle

I figured it out! So hover cursor/ mouse over the house room/hallway whatever and when the room name comes up with the square with the pencil in it right click ok that square and pencil in the circle. The hallway section that I picked up was completely empty. No items, wallpaper or flooring.

All of that just to get symmetry… very satisfied right now 😂

I've been playing this game for a while and have romanced almost everyone else... But I did have a question for how the romance progression works. Now that I'm romancing Subira and don't have as much to do in the game as I did in the past, I'm finding it to be a slow grind to get her romance bar up. Is giving the chocolate and flower once a week each the only way to boost the romance bar, other than flirting? Its ok if that's the case, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something else I could be doing to make it go a little faster. It only feels so slow because I have less to do in my down time than I did when I was romancing others.

its possibly two people reaching the groves first and cutting everything down without calling it, happened to me, couldnt find the grove despite hearing the sound effect and checking every spot. sometimes there are people like that and its unfortunate, hopefully you'll swing by a server without them

@ivory pelican for the chat problem at least on the switch go to the settings menu change the chat to streamers chat on and it should work. The player identities of real players will not show up above their heads. You can always put it back to default after you do this

After I scraped together 25k for the chest recipe, have been struggling a bit with making money, before that I was just mining and selling the gems and extra stuff like fish or produce/materials. My main source of income comes from turning my crops into preserves. I have preserve jars running after every batch of harvest (I have a mix, but of course apples and blueberries sells for more). Fellow lovely Palians have shared their optimal gardening layout with 100% water retention and 0 weed etc over at #🌱│gardening . Before knowing about this I tend to forget to water my crops so that saved me alot. Hope this helps even a bit!

Silk thread drops from rare bugs. So using a buzzy jar to find them or mining iron and catching the centipedes is a good way

yea most they can do is help build things and water/weed garden, maybe start cooking but they don’t use your thing so you don’t have to help them etc , can always kick them out if you wanted to keep it for friends by exiting your plot or changing the setting fast

jam is my go-to less effort to keep baking pies/cakes everyday to restock the farms, and only 1 less fert than pie

is the star quality fish puddle spawn rate somehow influenced by player proximity? e.g. when i am in bahari caves and i just stand there and wait for puddles to respawn, it takes a few minutes. but if i simply walk out of the cave and walk back in, they have respawn immediately every single time

you can still get starred dishes from non-starred ingredients, yes

the chance will just be a little lower, that's all, but it's still very much possible

best would be completing the dish without mistakes and as quickly as you can to increase your chances of a quality meal

Hi! I don't know if you managed to get your rocks to stop flashing, but in case this helps... I had to change Graphics Quality --> Effects from Low to Medium to make it stop on my PC. (This only applies to the graphic weirdness where all breakable rocks flash constantly, NOT the new countdown flash when mining.)

Question - how do visitor permissions work exactly? I’d like to open my plot for anyone to visit but I’m not sure what they can interact with. Can players eat my food on display or harvest my garden? I don’t want my plot messed with

When people join your plot, they will show up as "Visitor" in the H-menu settings. As Visitor, they will not be able to move things around your plot or harvest your garden, but they can help you weed things or water your plants. :3

They'll only be able to move things around if you give them Editor role, so there shouldn't be too much messing around!!

Can someone confirm that the max amount of connected housing structures on a plot is 15, and that if I wanted something bigger I’d need to build additional harvest houses and expand from there?

1 harvest house + 14 rooms, u can buy additional harvest houses in the city hall yup but they can't be connected, but u can place them rly close so it looks like its one whole house

There are two methods to hunting the Azure (white) Chapaa. The first is to hit with a dispell arrow. This will stop him from splitting, but he will still run, and once the effect wears off he can split again.

The second and easier is to still use dispell arrows, but walk up on him and make him split first. I recommend doing this with your bow already drawn and ready to fire to make it easier. Once his splits, hitting either him or one of the clones will cause the clones to disapear and will stun him for ~10 seconds, which makes it way easier to hunt.

@slow anchor to add to this, you can also get the door/porch attachments, place them on the exterior of each harvest house structure, then place them very close to the each other to make it easier to pass through them.

"make sure you log in any time during these two time periods" implies you get it once per time period, or else the only other interpretation is "every time you log in" which seems not likely

open your social tab o on pc or + and requests , click the hand with heart icon(i think zr? on switch) and you can find them there, if there’s non on server try collecting low quantity stuff like spice sprouts or sundrop lilies etc, and ask ppl in server chat to request them as your on the quest

if on switch and it says expired make sure to update your time and date with internet

I had issue with the Bat Fish at first because it flies around the bobber. The trick is just to keep the circle on your bobber, and not the fish

I'm also getting input lag so half the time when I click to start reeling in the fish it won't go through until after the fish escapes

The input lag is an issue with chopping things too. I can't chop right when the line is at the right spot, it'll fail unless I do it early
