For fishing unfortunately it really is a patience thing, I've just dedicated 1-2 palian days to fishing per irl day and take a break if I don't catch the fish I need

it just takes time, most of the things needed for the bundles are fairly rare to extremely rare
e.g. the unicorn fish(and everyother epic fish) has a 2% catchrate so it can take a few hundred glowworms
u just need a good amount of luck for them

the reason is bcs u went to the orb island early and activated the flowgate on it causing a bug with that, they know about the issue and are working on it, should probably be fixed with the next patch on the 27th, but no guarantee

I don't remember activating a flowgate for it. But I do remember accidentally going there early before. But that's great that they're working on it. I do hope that it's fixed soon. I hate that I can't complete it as they are the only two quests I have going on. Thanks so much for that information!

The lower level axes can hit the baby trees without chopping it completely, but it's always a gamble to share because someone's gonna run in, chop everything and run. You might as well take it if you're the first one there with the right axe.

Hello, happy time zones! I’m prepping to cook food for a quest, and it rewrites star quality. Does anybody know if that means I need to find star quality for every farmed/foraged/hunted ingredient that goes into it, or will I get away with using a normal grade ingredient if it’s just one?

You don't have to have star ingredients to make star dishes. Getting star dishes is RNG but cooking with others, speed, having a high cooking level and more star ingredients helps

Yeah, you can hit the same size flow tree as regular tree with your current axe, but in my experience you can only do damage faster than it heals if it’s the next tree size down from what you’re currently hitting (not an issue if two people are hitting).

u need 3 tomatoes for 2 seeds = 80g
3 pickled tomatoes = 102g
just as a small breakdown to visualize it a bit

if you haven’t left , go out of the temple and back in, go re read what’s missing (if you know them if not re read em all) and wait 5-10 seconds on each one then go talk to her a few times, sometimes it’ll make the prompt show up, there’s some bug with the evidences that their not registering, if nothing works then yes you’d prob have to wait for a fix too

when you open a new plot it basically empty (whatever your trees/rocks etc you left on the other transfers over though) but if you swap back and forth you don’t have to keep redecorating

it’s all goes to storage as you pick up rooms if your moving houses just make sure to have the space for it otherwise it won’t (the items anyway)

Is this your first ornament or just the first you had trouble with? I find it helps to look at the ceiling to find the 'green' areas you can attach it to, like you're hanging a lamp. Some spots are too close to walls.

If you're talking about fish you catch, the starred ones come with their own aquarium. The non-starred ones cannot be displayed.

depending where you want to go there are fast travel signs around (there is one in kilima by the big stable area in town, and there are a few in bahari bay if you’ve been there yet) that’s really the only way to get somewhere fast other than running :) y on switch is run and on pc it’s shift iirc

i have heard other reports of this, but at least some of the people reporting it were just mistaken about the controls so i'll just explain them to check that's not what's going on for you - you need to hold down the button to start the minigame and keep it held down until it reaches the white circle, then you release the button. if you just press the button once at the beginning and try to press it again when it gets to the circle it won't work

its not being ignored there was just no patch yet that fixed it
they are working on it, they just had no time to fix it with the january patch bcs of their winterbreak + nintendos verification process so they need to submit their patches very early to nintendo

next patch is on the 27th should be fixed with it, at least the major bug with zeki on the wrong island, they're focusing on bugfixes next patch

also depends on the rarity of the starstone itself bcs something like quartz and garnet drops more often so u get more starred quartz and garnet compared to emerald etc.
