• go to social panel > + Manage Friends, type their name and directly add them
• if the players u want to befriend with is in the same server, go to social panel > scroll down to server list > press add friend
• you can also whisper them by clicking the "chat" icon under their name or type "/w [name]" for example "/w Alvyre"

you can visit ur friend / party plot by going to travel board in your plot

On your plot, yeah, they don't come back, but you can always replant trees from seeds you find in the open world

What exactly happens when you romance the NPCs? Can you romance more than one?

Apparently yes! Not every NPC, but many of them.

You have the option to flirt as well as chat, after you've given them a romantic gift to start the romance line, and they give you quests as you level up the romance.

Eventually they'll give you a "pin" as a token of their affection, which you can choose to wear but you can only equip two at any given time. I don't know what (if anything) happens when you take them off.

Newbie here, on Switch. I’ve got main house with small room attached to one side. Bought hallway section but can’t get it to lock where I want on one side. The circle/node turns green, but says ‘something is in the way’. I’ve cleared the whole area around plus more. When I shift the small room to the node, I get the same error message.

Is this a known issue? I actually want to build the hallway, then move it to sit between main and small room.

It is a known issue! And there is a work around, rotate the existing house, then place the hallway where you intended, then rotate back.

This has happened to me several times. I once saw the grove above me, but when I climbed up there, it disappeared and people were leaving. If I didn't stop to give a call out, I would have arrived a minute sooner. Later someone saw my chat and apologised because they don't look at the in-game chat (which means they are either together IRL or on discord etc).

But other times, people were chatting in Japanese so I had no idea what they were saying other than "ft".

If the animal is in an area that it won't leave I've found you can chop all the trees in the area so it doesn't have a place to hide. Another option is to shout out in chat for help. Others like hunting the magical animals too.

hey the last someone had a problem similar they were advice to rotate the whole house and attach the part you want then rotate it back to the position you want it in. you can try that and let me know if it helped.

This is a bug but there is a silly workaround: rotate the existing main building, then place the room where initially intended, then rotate it all back in to place.

for a beginner, sell everything you forage/find. especially the gemstones from mining. planting tomatos is also a good option as they haave more than one harvest

My son seems to be trapped in a dialogue loop with Jel. He plays on his switch, and when he presses A, Jel just says the same thing he said before A was pressed. The only way to escape it is to shut the game down from the switch main page. Is this a known bug? I can't seem to find the page I saw before listing known bugs.

Is it for a quest or just to talk to Jel? The NPCs only have a conversation once per game day (unless the conversation levels up your friendship), so after that convo, they will say the same thing as before

Not for a quest. In this case, Jel is just repeating his line about something like if you think being you is something to be offended by then you should think about that (it's worded way better than that but he relogged already)

It's like he will get part way or nearly thought a set of npc dialogue and then it gets stuck on one piece of it and he can't escape it, A just repeats the same sentence and no other buttons let him advance the conversation or get out of it

i’ve heard throw once and wait for it to move again before throwing another as using a lot in rapid fire doesn’t really do anything, once you get used to the range on it you can hit from a little distance and then move in so you don’t initially spook the bug

She can't figure out how to restart or reset the quest so that zeki and the sisters are on the "main" floating island... because she cant trigger the progression with out them being on the main island
