You need a loom

Leather is made on it using the animal hides, and fabric from cotton crops

it's also how you make silk, using thread caught when you catch higher level insects

make sure your switch is set to auto update, it messes with request, ask on your server you are doing the quest watch for easy items or say what you have extras of that can be requested, change zones if you don’t see an requests after a few minutes

someone told me that forageables are different from mining nodes in that, if someone else picks a mushroom, it will still be there for you until you pick it. is this true? or are ALL resources on the map shared with other players? (so if i pick a mushroom while eddie is standing there, eddie won’t be able to pick that mushroom until it respawns.) which of these scenarios is true, please and thank you? 😊

Hey friends! I think I found a bug? I'm doing the helping people out quest for I think hassian, and got to asking zeki if he needs assistance. I'm now stuck with him telling me "or am I?" Endlessly. I can quit and restart the game but am also questioning if it is supposed to be this way for some reason lol. I'm playing on my switch if it matters. Anyone have advice?

yes, I've finished the quest ||"Written in the Stars"|| which is supposed to be his level 3 romance quest. I think that i got it early at Level 2 because I had already maxed ||Sifuu||. the missing quest is ||"Befriending the Blacksmith"|| because that one apparently will only appear if you've gotted Hassian to Level 3 Romance before Sifuu Level 4 Friednship.

the other missing quest isn't a bug it's just that the game makes you choose for Hodari's Level 2 quest and for whatever reason instead of it being the same quest with different objectives LIKE HIS ROMANCE LEVEL THREE IS. they decided to make IT TWO DIFFERENT QUESTS WHICH MEANS YOU CAN'T COMPLETE EVERY QUEST ON YOUR ACCOUNT

Are you asking me how to see your inventory in general or are you saying that for some reason you can't see overflow in your inventory? Just to understand what the issue here is. I haven't heard of someone not being able to see overflow in their inventory so if that's the case idk how to help you. The normal resolution is to not use a storage chest and to move in inventory.

On the switch, I can see my overflow itemized only in general storage. In personal inventory there is only a red cast over all inventory when it is full and a message pops up to say that its overflowing. When I go to general storage, I see the option to move items but pressing the buttons does nothing. I was annoyed by this on day one after restarting several times, went and installed the game on a pc just to be able to use general inventory to move the overflowing items into my inventory. Now I am on switch again and the issue persists each time that I overflow

On the Nintendo Switch you bring the selector cursor down into it and press down [A] hold it down then drag it up to your regular inventory space (thanks, Eir, I stole your text)

If the standard way to move overflow isn't working for you, then you'd need to file a ticket.

I am having trouble with 2 quests: it takes a village Caleri, Elouisa.

It wants me to “activate the island’s flow gate” for each, but I cannot activate the flow gates at either side island. I read on Reddit that it required ancient flow bugs, but I’ve gathered 30 and still nothing.

I have gathered more than 10 silverwing eggs and they’re sitting in the big nest. But I can’t figure out how to move the quests forward.

No red space. Nothing that says this is the overflow inventory (outside of chest storage). In general storage all of this is visible and cursor can be moved to select it but the button A Move does nothing at all

the only thing we know 100% is that each gardening lvl gives 2% star quality harvest chance, with starred seeds which have 50% by default u will be able to have a full star harvest starting with lvl 25

rumors for other skills, marked them as a spoiler bcs they are not completely confirmed afaik:
||higher cooking = greater chance getting starred dishes
higher foraging = greater chance to obtain seeds
higher hunting= greater chance of getting more meat + starred meat
higher mining = greater chance getting gold and silver
but nothing 100% researched afaik, only player experience so would take these ones with a grain of salt)||

again, from experience, this doesnt always work. Besides, why would you have to run off? This is supposed to be a nice place, and you dont seem to realize how big gates for abuse voice chat opens. So far, Palia seems to have rather nice community, but this can be easily ruined. I've reached the point where i had to ditch games with vc because even with switching servers every now and then, sadly more than less often, i ran somewhere where people kept acting like the local DJ's :DD and in palia, where you cant switch server without switching the map and even this doesnt always work, this would be just pain. You cant even get to a damn city centre to shop because someone is either running around screaming, playing music, etc. Besides, there is no reliable way to filter profanities and slurs, thus - this is just a no.

She's available at the inn after the party scene
to get the recipe for congee you have to talk to her at the inn and there should be some dialogue to pick the type
you make it at the campfire if you've already done the congee scene with them

12 am every Palian day(every IRL hour at XX:00) one grove spawns in bahari with several flow trees, people often call them out so just be in bahari at 12am,
otherwise u will need to chop trees and hope for flow trees to spawn, best for it is the north side of bahari bcs of the high density of trees

yeah, one quest will ask you to talk to Zeki on the main island as firegirl just mentioned, so if they have moved on the other orb island then you wont be able to complete the quest before the devs patch and fix that issue in a week or two.

Yeah likely a better channel for that Q, but if you're on windowed fullscreen and enter character mode (where cursor is free) then I feel that is common in many games that the mouse will continue to 2nd screen (i don't have that issue when normal running around etc though if you got it also then that's weird). To avoid that run fullscreen I guess, which normally then would work. I've no major performance issues, though I am fairly sure they still have a plenty of performance tweaking to do as we're still in beta.

Serious Warning for those who invest so much time saving up and got a lot of gold stored in your pockets. Your pockets is not window shoppin locked. So avoid hanging around too long in window shoppin shops when you got alot of money. if your bag is full stuff goes into a red bar overflow, if you don’t take it out it’ll probably go into your storage chest but you’d also not be able to pick anything up

you can have 8 storage which are just like bags but much bigger and are organized by types of items and 3 locked boxes which have less room in them but these items in it won’t be used for crafting or cooking etc until you take them out

I have got a question of my own, I was playing on switch and was having trouble making the herb butter for shepps pie... I had my recipe failed twice because of it... It just says that there is a problem starting this recipe but I already have the chopped spice and butters available... Anyone knows what's wrong or is also encountering this issue?

The Smooth Shiny is simple on a "bug" level of drop rate percentage, so no, you're like just feeling the RNG of it being 0.10% drop rate apparently. Maybe an intern placed the comma wrong 😉

In the H menu on PC, click the building edit, then click the relevant direction as to change from one of the three options, inlcuding the door like opening (it's not a door clearly, you can't have internal doors yet, but it's the smallest type).

Is there a bug in the Temple of Gales? I somehow went under the stairs/floor by the door that needs to be picked lock opened. By the big yellow ball. Zeki and others are now inside, without picking lock. I got item needed and went back to the door. Cant open or speak with anyone...

What I mentioned in the post above for sure, your clipping into the last room I don't know, that' a bit more rare (thought that in itself is not game breaking I guess). E.g. did you unlock the air stream to get over to island with orb, or glide and respawn?

Question about cooking (on Switch if that matters). I get a secondary inventory that fills up with the little icons of the prepared ingredients I create. Even after I'm done with the dish, this little icon list stays up. It only goes away when I leave my home plot. I can't interact with it in any way. Is this normal or possibly a bug?

Also, related to that. If I ruin a recipe before I USE those prepared ingredients (timer runs out before I add to the final dish), are they still sitting there to be used if I restart the recipe or are they gone with the ruined food?

Yes it is a bug. Mine did the same thing. Items should be burnt in dish that you've cooked.

Once linked and logged in once (for the rewards and you have received them) then yeah, you don't have to keep the game files installed there.
