I can’t even get the hang of basic fishing so either something is wrong technically or I don’t have the procedure down correctly. UGH

I’m on a laptop computer with a touchpad but for Palia I use a wireless mouse. Should that be ok?

Is there a known bug list somewhere? I’m playing on switch now (played on pc as well) and whenever I try to flip a dish… nothing works. I hit the circle a million times and it just jumps the cursor somewhere else. Failed. I’ve cooked these recipes on PC so I know it’s possible … not sure what to do!

hm yeah looks like it's clipping into the harvest house too much so it won't allow you to place it because the walls and roof would be overlapping. you might have to use a hallway between them or use a large room instead. that's weird tbh, i didn't realise medium rooms could do that on a harvest house

hanaemi, that is just the wardrobe where you equip cosmetic skins for your glider. you need to equip your glider in your inventory, it should be an item you were given

it's mostly just a way to increase a crop's value so they sell for more, but they're also a good source of focus if you're too lazy to cook (pickled potatoes are popular for that because they're easy to get in bulk, alternatively apple jam gives a lot of focus). they're also pretty good for putting in worm farms for fertilizer and worms.

Hi! Just checking in to GPH and have crappy wifi where I am right now, but is this about not being able to place a room?

This is a bug that's been happening since the last patch, if so. There is a workaround though, rotating the main building(s) and place the room where you had intended, then rotate it all back in to place. Rubik's cube haha.

Also, if you have an ancient rock garden out on your plot, it has a huge radius around it for no reason :) removing it or moving it further away while you place rooms helps.

Switch to PC account? When you first open Palia on switch the first thing it'll ask you is if you want to link or skip. If you skipped I believe you'd need to make another profile on your switch and launching Palia from the new Nintendo switch profile and not skip this time.

To be absolutely sure: everyone being added needs to be done with their tutorials. Make sure system times are correct on everyone's end. Even then, people have still had issues, but sometimes those things can help

I managed to find a really awesome Palian who cooked the pie with me along with items for the "Your Order is Served" quest, which luckily they're on the quest right before that, so now they can progress through the quest without having to cook the food for it.

As it is an event that occurs occasionally, I still believe that rarer bugs spawn during the event, with 1 bug for each FT grove spawn. These are my proofs, unless you have privileged information I prefer to believe the things that happen in my game, especially having played at least 9 hours a day of Palia.

Here's the evidence, you really believe that it's RNG, but I think that's just your opinion, unless some dev says otherwise. A detail is that I always sell the Jewlings I get and I sold a Rainbow because I already had 4 in my trunk saved for missions.

Jesus Christ man. Have you never been to the grove spawn and arrived first? It simply ALWAYS spawns 1 single rare bug, how did I discover this? Being the first to arrive whenever I could, and there is a pattern to this, it is no wonder that I caught 5 Raibows in a row and the last one was a trophy. But if you insist that you're right without knowing how the mechanics work then I'll just block you. Hugs!

Not sure how they do the dialogue triggers internally so can't really say why, but it might be intentional to make ppl talk to other npcs to fill out your "day" so it feels more 'wholesome' or smt

so as for their own wants, they might be the kind of person who thinks of others first before themselves, Hodari's description said something like "will lend a helping hand when he can", so it takes time. The only thing he told me he wanted was ||paper lantern bugs for the mines||, but his dauther was the one to tell me he wanted the ||deer's antlers||

to be honest, using a map site that shows bug locations, it only shows the rainbow butterflies (that people reported) to be near where Hodari and his daughter roam around, so its hard to say "every grove has one' and I've been to groves first and the only bugs there weren't the rainbow one, I would of thrown bombs at it.

Many recipes are not showing everything needed, sometimes exiting the workbench and opening it again works to make them show up. If that fails, I recommend looking the item up in the wiki or in Paliapedia.com to to see the real recipe

Anyone have a good walkthrough for the Gale temple? I am getting so lost there. I’ve only found 8 eggs. Maybe 5 of Zeki’s treasures Somehow Elouisa’s quest is done. Im not sure since i stop playing, but you can go friends panel and click your friend list (active and offline) then there should be dots that said unfollow, block, invite, and etc

My way of farming is like placing a water boost (forgot the effect name) in the middle then surround it with other boost, then i use fertil to add boost which i ended up with 3-4 buff on every plant, i repeat this cycle on my plants, i cant show you rn but i hope you understand and i hope this will help

Yep thats how i do 😅, but if you want specific, i would pick the hp increase hook for rare n legendary fish and the bait will be like the glow worm one. I forgot the buff food that i used to ate sorry 😅
