the only thing u can "take" from someone would be foragables which despawn after a certain timer, for common stuff 30s up to 5 minutes for more rare stuff, but that doesn't matter at all for something like spice sprouts etc

Guys, can you clear up my doubts regarding the romance in Palia?
I know that you can have romance up to lv 2 with all romanceable characters (which I still don't understand because some NPCs aren't), and that you can have everyone's pins, but only use two at the same time.

However, my doubts are:

1- What happens if I take off the pin?
2- What happens when you reach level 3 of romance?

1 - nothing happens when you take off a pin at present. iirc there's at least one quest where someone will note whether you're wearing their pin or not, but it doesn't negatively affect anything.
2 - nothing? you can romance everyone at once, yes even past level 2 all the way to max level. a few people will have negative dialogue if you're wearing other people's pins (||hassian doesn't like you dating others, but especially tamala, and reth and tish don't like you dating each other||) but it doesn't affect anything, at least so far.

If you take off the pin then they get mad at you and I believe (this was true at one point, I'm like 80% certain its still true) you will lose an entire level of romance with them. As for what happens at Level 3 romance, it depends on the character.

Hey guys, so I’m kind of hitting a dead wall in the game currently. There’s lots I need to buy but I’m broke as hell. I’m level 3/4 in my my skills, I have 3 plots (1 is an apple tree), I hunt and fish for gold, not selling any of my crops because i put them in the seed maker to plant again, but I can’t afford more plots/better tools (I have all standard rn)/crafting license etc. what am I doing wrong that I’m not making enough gold?

Mine everything. LOL All nodes have a chance to drop starstones, including clay. And you can sell some of that ore for decent amounts, as well.

Dragonshrine is to upgrade your focus bar, while the phoenix shrine upgrades your focus bonus giving you more xp for your skills but consumes more focus.

Can someone give me a breakdown why Fine Arrows are better than Standard Arrows? From what I can tell, and maybe I'm wrong, creatures seem to need the same amount of hits regardless between those 2 arrows to go down.

fine arrows usually take 3 hits to kill an Elder Sernuk while standard take 4 same goes for the Azure Chapaa, while stripped chapaa take 2 arrows no matter what once you have standard arrows or higher. Don't know the arrow difference when it comes to the Proudhorn Sernuk and the Bluebristle Muujin, so the difference isn't much just takes an arrow less while using the fine arrows.

• Chopping - Tap A when the blue bar passes by the indicator on the right. Different meats and vegetables have different tempos and chops.
• Pressing dough - Tap A when the blue bar reaches the indicators at the top of bottom.
• Oven - Set the item that needs to go in there and wait until it's done. If you wait too long, it'll burn. It's usually enough time for one chopping.
• Flip - Hold A until the blue circle spins to the round white indicator, or tap A then. Either works. It doesn't have to be perfect, just reach.

An issue I have had, maybe it's my switch, it's that some of the prompts get stuck. Mostly stirring filling up on it's own and flip being unresponsive. Just press A to release the stir and I press and hold for flipping to avoid the issue.

The other strategy is that, you initiate the cooking, but let someone else do it.

That’s not my problem. I’m aware of that. My issue is I’m not gaining any XP towards my furniture making skill. My yellow xp wheel has not gone up after I crafted 3-4 furniture items.

I play on switch, and sometimes when I talk to the characters they keep repeating the same exact text with me clicking A (switch) but the option to come out of the conversation via B is unavailable and doesn’t show up?

Any idea how to fix this bug? I keep having to come out of the game altogether and restart. It’s infuriating. 😂🙈

Did you get unstuck yet? But on switch to teleport you use the plus button to get to your map. Open the map and press X to go home. You can only teleport every 30 minutes,

MMO’s always a little glitchy, fishing can make you decent money because you don’t really need a ton of fish to keep for resources other then recipes for cooking later on

lfg cooking parties can be a little chaotic, but very rewarding (personally I recommend against doing huge ones until you're far in the game or it could speedrun the game a little for you) - sometimes there are 15 players cooking together, each with an assigned role, so you might be mixing 1 sweetleaf for the recipe, then make 50 or 100 of the recipe (so getting 3 times that in the food)

sounds like you're fairly early in - I would recommend maybe waiting on that for sure! But if you do find a small group (1-3 other people) it could be worth cooking whatever you can cook together!

the big groves (usually around 5 to 9 or more trees) are only in bahari i believe, though you can find singles almost anywhere between the two maps.

They can spawn in Kilima too, although apparently in larger numbers in Bahari, most certainly when flow groves spawn at midnight. If you can't find any by yourself try chopping trees down - every new tree that spawns on the map has a chance of becoming a flow tree

if their directions/info is lacking ask for closest map label and nwse-direction: usually helps

I recommend bahari because between people intentionally farming flow trees, the groves, and people hunting muujin, there tend to be more showing up

the trees where I knew they were once purple are no longer purple. When are they like that? at a certain time or something?

Any tree, when chopped down, has a chance of respawning as a purple (flow) tree. Additionally, at midnight in game in Bahari, a small area will be converted to them (these usually go quickly)

no, but the trees to regenerate health while you chop them, so having multiple players helps a lot!

On the Catalyzing Caper maze quest. I left last night and it sent me back to the bahari stable. How do I get back to the fire temple? So I can complete the quest. It won’t pin my map the location or give me a teleport. So I’m just lost on where to go.
