Known bug. Many crafting/cooking recipes are displaying the wrong needed ingredients

Look them up on the wiki/paliapedia or relog until they're right

0.174 introduced a new bug - in workbench you can only see the number of ingredients equal to the number of ingredients for the first selected recipe when initially opening workbench crafting window.
To get a correct one open workbench crafting window, select desired recipe, close window and open it again. Recipe you selected before should be the first one and display correctly.

water retain is still useful early to reduce the time you need to tend to your garden. With water retain you only need to water when replanting

and you can get boost like water retain from crops as well (potato and tomato for water retain). Crop boosts are applied to 4 adjacent crops (only crops of different type, so potato won't give water retain to another potato)

I cannot visit any of my friends plots, or join any of the servers they are on. I can join a party, but I never end up on their servers, even with invites. I tried restarting router, restarting computer and re-installing the game, but same problem. Is this region restricted now? found a workaround for anyone trying to buy coins on the palia store. put the game in window mode, not fullscreen, and for some reason it lets you make a purchase. then just change your display settings back and youll be set.

Just to be more clear about the server connectivity bug: cross region friends specifically cannot currently sync to play together or visit each other's plots as of the last patch. The only workaround is to us a VPN, otherwise wait for a hotfix :)

You need 10 palium ores mined for each exquisite tool upgrade. and 50-100 for a single piece of rare furniture. Ore doesnt' heal like flow wood, so ... only so many people can mine each node. There's gonna be some pretty antisocial behavior unless it gets increased. Either that or we're going to lose a ton of newbies just because of the mining grind. They could double the current spawn frequency and it would still be rare.

thats actually not that person, its a bug if u decline friendrequests or delete someone as a friend a friendrequest will pop up everytime after logging in, blocking them could fix that but don't work in most cases

blocking them should be easily done by accepting the friendrequest and blocking them through the social panel (O) there should be an option for that

Currently crafters are not showing complete materials needed. Some people can apparently exit and open the crafter again to see an updated recipe, but that doesn't work for me. You can look up the recipe on https://paliapedia.com/recipes/page/1 and once you have all needed materials for the recipe, the "Make" button will work :)

1. there are no weekly updates, patches are every 2 weeks but there won't be one until january except for maaaaybe a hotfix that fixes the zeki problem

tis what I do, I use stables to and fro kilima bahari, but if you have friends on, it may try to sync you to them thus not changing your server

Best tip I can give is get to Bahari a few hours before the morning (3am) or night (6pm) bug spawn times, run around pulse and hideaway catching whatever rares are there and scaring off the crappy bugs so then when the reset happens at the times above, you are ready to grab all the newly spawning rares

Getting there before 3am and being ready is especially important for the Rainbow butterfly. 90% of the times I’ve found any were at the first set of morning bug spawns at 3, and they’re still rare…so after a few hours they’re usually already caught or scared off in my exp.
Here’s their spawn map, it helps if you start at the circle I made at 3am and have your jar and a smoke candle going. I’ve found 2 spawned in this spot at the same time before, plus you have the most range of the other areas it can spawn from here (Buzzy jar range is 200m)

Before 3am, yes, but I recommend one at 3 if you have it just in case because those butterflies can bolt off so fast your head will spin lol

Hangout at the top entrance to pavel mines while using a buzzy jar, they’re up there all the time. Scare off the other bugs while you’re there to increase its spawn chance!

It’s a waste of a lure IMO, half the time you don’t get any rares at all from them. You’ll find one pretty quick with just the jar!

When using a jar you’ll know if it’s a jewel wing if it’s moving around fast like this

Also for the rainbow, here’s the tips I gave someone earlier and they got theirs 25% through the Buzzy jar after:

Buzzy Jars are also nice because you get so much silk, and the other mats are fairly easy to come by, so they pay for themselves fairly effectively.

I just made another to get the Gossamer Moth using functionally the same technique, so hoping that goes well.
