Check your list achievements. Good chance your progress record has been lost so the game doesn't know you've had glow worms before so you can trade them.

^this. But to be clear, progress itself isn't lost, just the record there, which also appears to be used by the request system. If you have the item in storage, the workaround of taking it out of storage so you can request it seems to be back to consistently working.

Similarly, you might be working on an achievement like 'catch all fish' or something. All fish will be blacked out, but if you happen to know which ones you didn't catch by hand and catch only those fish, the achievement will still complete.

I made the mistake of not marking which fish/bugs I caught and which an NPC gifted me, and I also have the blackout bug, so I'm jsut going to let that achievement sit for a bit. At one point the gifted ones showed up in that record as completed, but we've done some checking and they definitely don't count anymore for completion 😦

Gazebo is for housing slots! You can obtain these by going to your house and clicking on the H menu. There is a dropdown at the top to purchase more housing slots- you'll have to buy three of these for 50k, 75k, and 100k respectively. Then, after that, you go to the townhall and buy a gazebo blueprint, take it home, then throw resources in to make it. This counts as a room. (The first gazebo should be free, but some players don't receive it, so better to plan to spend extra than to not plan for it and be disappointed).

I'm trying to decorate, and I've got sections of wall that the game registers as being obstructed in spite of there being nothing else anywhere near it. The attached screenshot shows one of them, I've got another very similar one on the left side of the wall. It makes doing what I want with my wall decorations completely impossible. Has anyone else seen this? If so, do you know what's going on or how to fix it?
([edit] Issue bypassed. If anyone sees this again, the solution is to exit grid mode (z) key. Thanks to Mittoa for this recommendation.)

I'm pretty sure the fishing with others buff only impacts the speed you find fish, not your exp. Overall it's going to be the more rare the fish = the more exp you get, so usually glow worms are your best bet but there's some rare fish that take normal worms too

I've had issues where I can't rotate my view and I find entering chat and exiting from it helps. Think your chat screen got popped up and you're stuck where your key strokes are being texted and it's not registering as movement?

I think they need to fix the 'cooking' system. YOu can sort them by 'ready to cook' and it'll show that you can cook just about everything.... even if you don't have the ingredients 😛

I did get the fish taco's to work by moving the 2 prep stations next to each other so could see that I had to go to the other to chop spice and roll out the shells, then add at the first station. Id suspect S6 plans to change the prereqs for the gazebo. Plot use is pretty limited, very excessive requirements for a gazebo.

Maybe thats why its bugged, maybe theyve messed with ideas for prereqs and now its bugged.

I haven't disconnected in 3-4 hours, so I haven't had that issue. I had that issue one night when I tried talking to an NPC at their door... and the game glitched and wouldn't let me 'exit' the chat window. Had to force quit the game, and then when I logged back in there was this same error.

If you are just starting out, aim to get your 9 soil plots. Until then, right now mining is the best active income from getting starstones. If youre still on early tools, hunting and foraging is a good way to make money as you progress.

Gardening and processing seeds/preserves/etc will eventually be your best source of passive income.

Mining for starstones (especially Pal nodes) to sell
Farming once u have 9 soils (you can start with lesser soils, u can try asking #🌱│gardening for layouts)

They will give you ||your 1st Apple and Blueberry seeds|| at friendship lv 3, which ||you can then grow your own apples and blueberries to convert into your own seeds||
(You can't buy ||Apple and Blueberry seeds|| without using precious tokens)

Most (if not all tbh) of your catch rate is in the main pouch upgrade not the smoke bomb
So safe to use whichever you want
Just know theres a bug with party catching bugs if you use sticky bombs (it wont count)

Not counting the ultimate bomb one thats 100% catch rate*
