What recipes are best for consuming in the beginning? Hearty vegetable soup isn't enough anymore

Recipe does require butter tho which is 200 gold at Zeki's

Loaded potato soup is good because focus got nerfed. Once you start putting renown into your max focus bar, I suggest switching to chili dumplings

if you want to find proudhorn, try using hunter's horn. It will add a map/compass marker if you are within 200m

Ok, just making sure because I've seen people trying to fish for it without having even released it. It's all rng. So just keep trying and you'll get it eventually. It's an epic fish so 1-2% chance to appear. Take into account limited fish pool availability and odds are even lower

This is my palium route... Hope this helps someone.
Each round takes about 5 minutes (once you master the climbing or close to lol)
The 2 runs I did in the video took 10 minutes and got me 27 palium. You can definitely get more depending on spawns though.
As long as you're making sure you clear every spawn point (rocks included) then by the time you get back to the start, everything should have started respawning ready to go again.

Not sure if this is the place to put this, but recently had to reinstall windows for my PC. Have Palia installed on another drive that is still in my PC. When launching the game I get the error that the client is out of date and to launch the client. So I do just that. Then it tries to go to a default file path, when I choose the filepath where Palia is already installed I get the following error message:

"Failed to install.
Try running the launcher with admin privileges.
i/o error: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. (os error 32)
The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process. (os error 32)"

Anyone know solution to this or will this have to be a full reinstallation?

I am still trying to understand fertilizer. Since it can be absorbed during a multi-day grow, and then have to be reapplied, which fertilizer effects your harvest, if you change it? For instance, start with harvest boost, then change to quality, or vice-versa, or do you have to stick with the same type until you harvest?

you need to use 1 unit per day for full boost. E.g. using 4 unit on potato (5 day grow) will leave you with 4/5 chance to get harvest boost. You can stack fertilizer charges.

Apply w/e fertilizer you need to achieve your desired results i.e. 100% water retention/weed protection etc. If you start with STAR produce, you don't need the Quality fertilizer. I put 90 on the Apple tree, 60 on the Blueberries and Peppers and 20 on all other crops. That lasts for almost the whole cycle

If you start with star seeds, you always get star produce? That's not been my experience. I get "mostly" star produce. but every now and then I get non-star, even though I always plant star seeds. I heard that changes, once you hit level 25 with Gardening. Right now I am at 22. I am planning on adding a second glow worm farm to make more harvest boosting fertilizer

Achievements bug is known (and common), it's only visual. Progress is not lost and you can still earn rewards.
But this bug also prevents you from requesting items you did not get in current session (if you have an item in storage, retrieving it will allow you to request it)

blueberries are better as seeds. You get more profit from 2 seeders making blueberries and 2 glow worm farms processing morel from zeki, than 4 preserve jars making jam

i checked how changing bb from seeds to jam would change profits in a layout with 4bb (growth boosted) and it reduces it by 68g/h (1.2%). Granted if you don't farm often, doing too many glow worm farms with zeki's morel would be annoying

you get first ember furniture recipe from fire bundle, rest from inspiration. Look for it in the unfiltered tab at workbench as it lacks furniture tag (this will also result in it not marking with green check, so keep track of crafted ones)

Has anyone come across an issue with the plots causing stuttering lag (~1/4 sec lag every 2 sec). This happened suddenly when working on my plot, and it seems very likely to be something specific that I've done on my home plot! not gameplay but cant find the tech support chat. A friend of mine just started playing and is having this bug where when she closes out of her map, it essentially just breaks and doesnt actually close out of the map. The ui closes but her hud is gone and her mouse is unlocked. Her only way to turn the camera is by holding left click and when she does left click, the ping thing shows up. We've found that by changing instances/servers or by drowning it fixes itself but it still happens frequently enough to be a big problem for her. I've told her to file a bug report, im just looking to see if there are any long term solutions and if its a known issue

Guys what does a better fishing rod actually do? Cause I have fine one. I tried to catch a bat ray but the health bar depleted so quickly, the thing kept jumping. I need it for a quest. Does a better fishing rod increase the healthbar? Cause if it doesn't then there is no use in fishing for me cause I can't catch the harder fish that keep moving and jumping like crazies

Otherwise the bat seems to always jump immediatly at the start.

Perhaps it could also help you to not look at the fish but instead the color indicator bars around your bobber, when it's red you gotta let go of lmb, when it's yellow you got it positioned right but the fish is jumping.

depending on which shelf you use you might have issues with it not allowing you to place it where you want to because the fish below it are too close. but usually if you place the shelf first then put the fish below it it's not an issue

You have to fill a side of something to get the boost. It doesn't have to be all the same side. 1x1 crops only need 1 crop per boost, however 2x2 need 2 crops per boost, and 3x3 need 3 crops per boost (cause sides are bigger)

Hi guys How do I actually add someone as friend? If I open social, search a name, find the player I want to friend, and click that "add friend" button what happens is I "follow" them. They do not see me on their list of followers. They do not receive any notification about a friend request.

This appears to be different from what happens if I look at the list of people on the server with me and click "add friend." That seems to actually send them a friend request.

We can both "follow" each other to no effect.
