If you are going to try by the pond, I suggest staying between the pond and the back of the barn. I think past the pond is the 'cutoff' point for its spawns

Gazebo is for housing slots! You can obtain these by going to your house and clicking on the H menu. There is a dropdown at the top to purchase more housing slots- you'll have to buy three of these for 50k, 75k, and 100k respectively. Then, after that, you go to the townhall and buy a gazebo blueprint, take it home, then throw resources in to make it. This counts as a room.

I don't know if you have a specific question I'm not understanding, but the only answer I can give is go outside, walk up to mushrooms, and hit the interact key (default should be f)

yes but they don't count towards a structure anymore. They should be removable w/ right-click, and you can rotate your house to better select them

The game litterally won't let me place it in the center like i want. I then tried to put the homestyle chandelier back and it won't let me. its almost like i can't reach the ceiling. I then tried to place fish and bugs to stand on while placing the chandelier and still can't. please help. did i just ruin my hallway?

Cooking parties is the 'best' but it's a borderline exploit

To play with friends, you both have to complete the tutorial first. If you've both done that, you can go to the social menu (o) and if in the same place, like Kilima, can then party up, add friend, and send server sync requests to hop into the same instance.

to visit a friend's house, if you have both completed the tutorial, go home and talk to the blue sign. They have to be home at the same time, and you can't build there or anything, but can water their crops, chop trees, etc. if they give you the technical permission to do so and you can cook together (and get the full food from it).

hello all! I have seen people change the type of doorway they have for their house. how can I do this? do i have to have each upgrade or something? tysm in advance, + i might be mistaken just wondering 😄

do you mean the front door or the interior arch between rooms?

if front door, they really aren't changing it - they're just adding doors to other rooms (town hall) - if inside, you go into the h menu, edit a room, pick the side of teh room you want changed, and it can be an open doorframe, a big gap, or no walls between the rooms at all

sounds like there's an invisible item on it like einar's pebble or jina's daisies

if so, sometimes putting it in a room and picking the room up fixes that, but sometimes that doesn't work either

your free plots do not count. you must get to the 100k one.
