You can only have one shepp, I believe, and you get special stuff happening once you make one =3 Romances, you can do several. You also get special things and events, but they aren't tied to the main quest.

And like others have said. Romances can start at friendship 3 while Shepp requires friendship 4.

does anyone else have issues with bug catching? This doesn’t happen every single time but it is most of the time. When I kill a bug, the bug will vanish (into the ground?) . It happens when I am alone or with others, however a bit more likely with others. They are able to pick it up. But it is gone for me completely, not able to pick it up.

I do not have an exact answer but I do know they stack, it wont ignore extra bombs if you use them.

i think its already predetermined whether your bomb will capture or not, but if youre catching something rare its helpful to stunlock them with the bombs (so it doesnt run away)

I am unable to make a blueberry pie. When I select the pie recipe at the oven, my character just stands there until the clock runs down. I'm unable to move to the left, right, up or down. Only when the recipe times out. am I able to move.

Are you able to use the examine key to check what is currently affecting your crops? I believe you should only have to apply effects initially, but I'm unsure if multiples overlap or replace. If you have other plants giving effects, then you don't need to add that specific soil as they do not stack.

Ive made sure not to overlap the same buffs with it ^^ but using soil adds numbers to the crop, which signifies ingame day. I cant get a picture but for example one of my tomatos has "harvest 4". So, after 4 days the soil will be used up and it will lose that buff. (trees and bushes use up 1 soil per plot square used)

I just dont know if its worth using these soils for entire durations or 1-2 specific days.

Sadly I'm not super well-versed in the fertilizer. I've only ever used the grow fertilizer and I only had to put it on once, initially, for it to work. Hopefully someone with more gardening expertise can field this one. Sorry!

So this a single player game, with a bit of sometime MP when it works.. I'm fine with it, but 'mostly' all we (25 per server) do is pass each other in game running around.

I find people tend to stop if you are fishing long enough to give you the fishing bonus, or will help chop trees and stones and stuff. Also if you are sitting people will sit with you. If you are just in the village there is usually just running around, but in other areas not as much! also if you wave they tend to wave back :p

The cake parties before the nerf helped a lot with that! Also going to the Bay there are a lot of people doing hunting parties, or cutting trees to farm flow, or hunting for nodes. The bay is where you get the most community outside of cake parties :p Most of the friends I have in game are from flow farming or cake parties

Ok, so maybe just change the way we are thinking. I'm just a farmer, but do well. did 1 cake party and it was AWESOME. Seems like they want us to find new ways to still enjoy but not exceed too quicky?

So, until they can increase the party size, not sure we will get the benefit from other sources. - Gathering, Hunting, Fishing, etc. - that should solve the cooking issues.

If you don't have a porch, use a room in your house that you can pick up into storage. (fish tanks and star food can disappear when doing this apparently, so don't have them in the room as well)

The resetting of accomplishments is a known issue. No time line on when it will be fixed. Only work around is to empty storage into backpack, then put it all back, that way you can request items. Note you will have to do this with every login in. The reset causes you to be unable to request items as it recognizes you as not having acquired them previously.

1. For collecting accomplishment purposes, do we need to catch but the star and unstarred version of the fish?
2. Do we know the chances of catching different rarity fish (ie. Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic)?
3. Is there a way to increase the chance of encountering higher rarity fish?
4. What does getting a perfect catch do?

There are achievements for catching both star and non star fish. If you catch star it counts as non star I think.
Chances are not really published. Epic quite small.

if you fish 100 bubble spots and 100 non bubbled, from my personal experience you will get 5x or more the amount of makeshift chests from said bubble spots, so this would lead me to believe yes they are higher rarity

yeah these % chances should be taken with some grain of salt, since there are more factors affecting the outcome. the biggest one is ofc the RNG, followed closely with some bugs for some specific items eg: the infamous sushi recipe

They have retuned some of the drop rates especially since the new bundles. I used to see starfire cecadas all the time. I still see them but far less and the glow bugs. They used to be everywhere.

From what I understand it has to be put on every cycle to have the best chance. I dont use it so I am not an expert and it seems to be a bit unreliable

you have x% chance each day to be a double growth day, my estimation on x is 20%. So you need to put it on for all but last day for full effect (can't get double grow on last day anyway)

i got fireworks from market before i fished up my sushi recipe (just an fyi) (edit - sorry - your "fireworks" piece was connected to the "recipes" after cooking" - i did not get the recipes or such before getting sushi)

i havent seen anything from them, yet, about that the bug/issue is - though they identified in the patch notes they believe there was somehting causing an issue for some people....one would think it wouldn't be hard to do a quick database analysis of who all has achievements/inventory items/recipes/whatever and don't have the sushi recipe to start looking for common threads...

Fertilizer won't be used if the crop has the buff already - side note. I'd try moving your plots around, like pick up and shift over and see if that 'restarts' it. If not, submit a ticket

But as Mittoa said if another crop is already providing the buff that ther fertilizer provides then the fertilizer will not be utilized.

Gazebo is for housing slots! You can obtain these by going to your house and clicking on the H menu. There is a dropdown at the top to purchase more housing slots- you'll have to buy three of these for 50k, 75k, and 100k respectively. Then, after that, you go to the townhall and buy a gazebo blueprint, take it home, then throw resources in to make it. This counts as a room.

Have you tried watering over them? Even if they say they're watered maybe it'll kick them in to a different state. My trees shift until I water them. here is my estimate for conversion rate:
glow worm = value/50 rounded with min of 1
fertilizer = 2 + (value/10 rounded with min of 1)
regular worm = same as fert
quality fert = 5 + (value/4 rounded with min 1)
should be accurate, save for weird rounding cases (most round down, but not all). bellla has a new spreadsheet for values per item, they should all match

someone put wrong data into wiki, i will add the formula. Old cakes made with jam before patch are worth 352g now, so 7 worms and 37 fert, new cakes with raw apples are worth 262g, so 5 worms and 28 fert (both values for star apple cake)
