for me I was literally in bahari for several hours today and a friend grabbed a heartdrop on a cliff with me, she fell off 3 times trying to climb up and it took her almost 10 minutes to finally get there and I picked it as soon as I reached it. It was still there when she finally reached the top

I am not in a rush for this, but I do think they really need to address the EXP gain in some skills. It would probably not go down well to just nerf cooking, furniture and gardening. So they need to probably buff the others so that you can gain similar levels for the same time invested as other skills.

1 hour of cooking even by yourself just using campfires will give you more EXP than nonstop fishing, backtoback honey lures, foraging/deforesting and mining.

The fact that grilling fish on campfires for 30 minutes gives more exp than you gained spending 1-2 hrs fishing is kind of crazy

I mean at the moment does xp even really matter? Levels dont feel meaningful at all and the guild shop rewards have just been delivering disapointment.

I like to partake in all the skills / activities in these types of games, as of right now I feel like when Im able to get on after work, If im not cooking, gardening, hunting or furniture making im not being efficient at all with my time which is kinda crappy

the other skills just do not feel anywhere near as rewarding / fulfilling for your time invested. It's not even a feel it's just fact 😭

I think gardening, cooking and furniture crafting give more exp in "less time" because they probably also take into account the pre-work they take (getting base mats and waiting irl time for crops)

I get that but even if you are casual, spending 30 minutes cooking and watching your skill lvl go brrrrr, versus 2 hrs of other activities for 1-2 levels... doesnt matter if you love a really casual approach or try and make the most of your time, this just feels off :c

Question for the advanced gardeners: I have 4 blueberry bushes on my plot, and before I left for the night I made sure they all have an even amount of fertilizer. The field was watered and completely weed-free. When I woke up, 2 bushes have used more fertilizer than the other 2. How is this possible? Is gardening just bugged?

roaming is better than camping, only 2 max can spawn at a time so you need to constantly be on the move to find them

Any uncrafted item and make sure to eat food for more exp gains, make sure to also level up your exp gain focus amount at the fountain, do exp focus first over the focus bar max amount.

I need help with cooking. I need cooked rice for a recipe. And rice is shown to be made in the stove. When converting crops to seed there is a small chance (6-7%) to get 1 additional non-star seed. This works for rice, wheat and tomato (and probably most other crops), but not for potato (i had 0 hits over 1859 iterations). Anyone knows if this it intentional or a bug?

When you get a good bow, hunting is decent money in Bahari. Sell hides and horns and non starred meat. The trick is to NOT chase deer. Find a valley with multiple deer and shoot all of them once, moving down the valley. They'll run around, stop moving, and you can shoot them once again. When you hit the sweet spot you get a string of POOFT kills that's very satisfying, and you don't have to run around like a fool or waste arrows.

Yes. Set aside at least an hour, hour and a half to cake party. As everyone in the cake party are gamers, therefore, cats, the cake party host must wrangle the cats to one place.

Sometimes people forget to lock ingredients, bring them, have to buy more, etc. So expect a 5-20 min wait for the entire cake pawns to begin

WOW, the last 20-30 minutes before the servers are supposed to go down for the patch I experienced the most fluent play that I have seen since the game was released in open beta 🤩
If I went into build mode(H) and right clicked a building piece, it was immediately picked up, no need for spamming the right mouse button for up to a minute before the game found out that I wanted to pick up a house building 😁
Also I made 20x3 Sashimi and 10x3 Apple Pies without getting stuck a single time after starting the recipe + No inconsistency with button and keypress, it was all so fluid like in closed beta 🥰

If you change targets, your first Sernuk is still halfway to dead, and it does seem to run less than if you keep chasing it. Start at the head of a valley or pass and tag everything, moving slowly and aiming.

Fish bubbles only indicate the ability to catch a star-quality fish. Otherwise, fish aren't visible, but are always present. If you drown in the water, you can fish there.

I make most of my money gardening . . . I sell all the excess I don't use . . . most of the excess I make worms & glow worms and fertilizer (that's the unstarred items) I get a lot of tomatoes . . . & Onions are the most profitable, Cotton is too, but I need that to make fabric. I am constantly turning over my garden as it takes the blueberrys a long time so I keep on replanting the crops around the blueberries that take a short amount of time to grow like rice, wheat, tomatoes grow a few times as well as blueberries but tomatoes are faster growing. I use mostly two different kidns of fertilizer, changing between the two, quality boost and the yellow & green one that multiplies the crops. I make only onion and tomoatoes pickeled as they give the highest profit. I don't even need to cook anymore from hunting because the pickeled items sustain me. I also make blueberry preserves from the unstarred blueberries to fill my focus when it's not that low. You constantly have to keep after your garden if you want to make good money. Today alone I made 25K + just from gardening. I am now level 18 in gardening. Waiting to get 40 more metals so I can buy apple seed. I hear that is very profitable too. I hope this helps 😉

Fish bubbles spawn on a limited basis after a limited time. Some fish are rare and you'll need to catch far more fish than you can reasonably get by only waiting for fish bubbles. And not just fish - rare items too are caught by fishing. tl;dr you will have many, many, many reasons to fish for non-star fish.

aside from the limited amount of bubble spots, which can kind of be combatted by fast travelling between killima and bahari, everything you said can also be farmed in bubble spots

just fyi - onions are the second least profitable crop (after blueberries; but blueberries are used in cake or can be converted to seeds with good profit). Tomato are the best, cotton, potato and rice are also great. Potatoes are great for making seeds (last very long). And you can get apple tree seeds from lv 3 relationship quests (zeki and nai'o). Also with star seeds and lv 18 you should already have like 85% chance for star crops, you can skip quality fertilizer.

None, the only advantage with tomatoes is that you don't need to replant often, that's about it for tomatoes in my opinion, also a good layout with 5 apple trees, 4 Blueberry bushes, Rice, Wheat and potatoes in between to raise the harvest amount is a killer setup that easily can net you up to 100K in a game session of 5-7 hours 🙂

Pickeled onions sell for more than pickeled tomatoes doo. Pickeled Potatoes are the highest. I don't even make pickeled carrots anymore, they are the lowest. I only grow star quality . . . when I get the unstartted I save all but blueberries and cotton for the worm/fertilizer makers . . . blueberries unstarred I make blueberry JAM? . . . I was selling the starred cotton but found out that I was always low on material so I use the starred cotton as well for fabric just until I can get caught up with my Cotton . . .

just for context - profit difference in palia is balanced better than say sdv, max vs min is only 15%, so it's not a big deal which crop you choose. Star chapaa meat is easier to get from striped chapaa.

uhh can you uconfirm which romance level you're having trouble starting the quest for? if you already have the pin,, that means you've already finished level 3. (you default at level 1 and the three milestones on the relatioship tab is for lvl 2, 3, 4). there is a known visual bug with the level3 milestone still showing an exclamation mark after finishing the quest and getting the pin. you can progress to level4/the last level with no problems
