In general, the consensus is that you get more star drops when higher level in a skill. Farming is pretty easy to track, and people have confirmed that when using star seeds at level 25 you're pretty much guaranteed star crops.

The only things we've noticed so far are that the starred ancient fish doesn't grant exp, and you get more exp for hotspots (starred pools), rarity of fish, and perfect catches.

Something else worth considering is how easy it is to get a fishing buff from other people alongside. So for example, the caves in Pavel Mines or behind the inn might be worth spending time at.

I don't know about levels. I honestly don't pay much attention to my skill levels, just my tools.

if you want to take it down yourself... and if you're really good, then use dispel arrows, animation cancel into slow arrows, animation cancel into fine/dispel arrows and repeat. Every shot becomes an arrows change, but it can't escape. That's the try-hard method though lol

any area a sweet leaf can spawn is where a dari can as well so if you want to get one, you need to go to every sweet leaf spawn locations since only 2 dari can spawn at most

There are a maximum of 8 chests for storage (more with other plots was an exploit and has been patched). To get more storage, you'll want to upgrade to copper chests, which are at the register in Tish's store (not from Tish herself). The first upgrade is a recipe for 25,000 and there's an iron one after. Outside of that, the only option is 3 lockboxes, which store 100 each but hide the item from being crafted with etc.

Northern Bahari is the place to be for the good stuff. Nobody really ever goes up that far except for people wanting to talk to Tamala, so it's fairly easy to spot herbs from a distance. In the meantime while I'm waiting on respawns, I head back down to Flooded Steps and gather sweetleaf, usually around dawn.

Yep. There's a wee hill in front of Tamala's, with a bunch of logs leading up to it. There's a heartdrop that spawns up there. And if you look south from that spot, there's another hill where it spawns.

I usually quickly check the most dense areas for sweet leafs and then move on gathering lots of different things for maybe 20-30 minutes, I usually get 20-40 sweet leafs in such a quick run, and by moving around so much I actually often come home with 1-3 dari cloves... I think my point is if you treat the game like a chore, it will become so 😁

Not really a "help" question but I'm curious what reasons players use multiple housing plots for instead of just sticking to one? I am curious if I am missing out on some core function.

In a similar vein.. I have been trying to keep as much of the wilds on my plots untouched but I am aware sometimes games want you to eventually clear everything off a plot so you can find a thing that you would not normally find otherwise.. (like breaking the 10th rock on your plot drops a key to a ruin)... is there anything like that beyond the first key you do dig up? Or am I safe keeping my plot the way it is with all of its native stones and shrubs and mushrooms that sing to me?

no core function really - some can use them to test out other housing layouts without messing up the main plot, they may want another space to house all their storage chests, crafters, or a dead zone for furniture, have another house specific for cooking parties/friend gatherings, or otherwise just RPG purposes. housing is mostly decorative atm so i wouldn't worry about having multiple slots at this point

PS unless, of course, you're gunning for a gazebo and/or a windmill, which will require you to purchase additional housing slots/plot expansions

it's completely unnecessary if you are comfortable with 1 plot, but i've heard of people placing all their furniture in one as a kind of showroom/junkyard to more easily see what furniture they want for their main house, also keeping their utility tools in one plot separate from their main house, also cooking party plots outside of the main plot so you can give everyone edit perms without worrying about them messing up your house so they can use the H menu if they get stuck.

There are a maximum of 8 chests for storage (more with other plots was an exploit and has been patched). To get more storage, you'll want to upgrade to copper chests, which are at the register in Tish's store (not from Tish herself). The first upgrade is a recipe for 25,000 and there's an iron one after. Outside of that, the only option is 3 lockboxes, which store 100 each but hide the item from being crafted with etc.

glow worms make very few worms for all foods, and celebration cakes make some of the most in return for using them as worm food. the glow worms and fertilizer will increase the value of selling the cakes, and you can also use the glow worms for more profit

Your "cheapest" method would be kilima rivers with no bait, as there are two types of uncommon fish you can get that way, and less travel time. That being said, rng is going to play a big factor too.
