You get a small chance of getting a star lvl meat, which is only a few gold more money than the normal meat (which doesnt change value at all) so if you want to spend all that time cooking for a few extra gold go for it, you could spend that time hunting more and making more money tho

To craft your cakes, the pattern I shown is the best, because you have sure, less quality boost, but more quantity, like a lot. You can always add "Quality Boost" or "retain water" boosting, if you really want those things.
But even with my setup with no quality boost, and hardcore Cake farming, I have a backlog of quality apples...

Sushi you can fish up on your own pond with a worm. Trout dinner you need Einar lvl 3 friendship to gain access to his place to get recipe. Sashimi you also have to fish up (I think on the coast in Bahari bay) and Macaron you find an item on the ground in Bahari Bay close to Flooded Steps (sw of it)

yea, I'm at 62.5 myself. you just gotta grind at this point. Only mine what your pickaxe is good for. If you're on a standard, mine copper, not iron. Fine, iron, etc. That way you're mining "fast" enough to min/max your xp. and of course make sure you're always eating and have focus points available or you gain no xp.

Like I said, it's beta. Just gotta deal with the bugs. It's possible the bug is related to lag, so if your internet is shoddy or you're on wifi that's got a lot of interference that could cause it.
