It looks like you get the first recipe for it, after you craft a standard quality tool for the first time!

The latest big feature was ranching, where you raise your own animals and breed them for materials and try to get certain cosmetic/production traits. You can get a license to take out your own raised animals but I think it's prohibitively expensive personally

You have your ranch, which is a separate area similar to your own plot. It has up to 3 pens currently plus a nursery. Your animals stay in there yes, unless you have a license in which case you can take one out as a following pet into the world

Total animal limit is 30 and each animal has a soft cap where they start to be less productive with materials if you have too many

They did add however the mechanic that you can get credit if you scare the bugs initially. So you're getting more usually than you threw at.

The dropper will still get some bugs, if they threw a bomb in that bug's general direction too but missed. But in general you only get the bugs you actually hit/killed, or one of your party members if you were within I think 35 meters

Just a heads up, many of us flare the lure in addition to calling it out (maybe before you got on the server) if it is open to everyone. I do that if I am not trying to get a specific bug. If you are near a lure and someone sends you a party invite, just accept it and catch those bugs. Everyone in the party gets the same stuff.

you can do what I call "lazy party." You don't have to do stuff together. Get at least one other person in a party and use your relics together. One with the essence booster, one with the thing that makes it so you can collect essence without potion/lure/special ammo, one with the relic booster, and the last one can be whatever because the other relic requires proximity.

@sudden elm You drop double honey lures in A4 with a full party with maxed-out bag of illusion (tier I will suffice if you have the lantern too), lantern and amulet, run around in circles, only focus on infected bugs and scare off everything else. That was a huge thing a couple of months ago. You can get about 10K infected essence an hour that way

I think I'm falling out of love with Palia I've grinded so hard and done all the board and got everything completed but the snowy splendor items!!! I've tried the hack for 2 days but kept getting snowballs and worms was then told ( gratefully ) not only should your main inventory be full but also your throwable/arrow inventory needs to be full!!!! So cost me a fortune crafting stuff to fill it 😫
I have now for 2hrs been logging on and off and have to wait as won't load in first try, I've ended up floating in Space, had to completely reload in with email and password twice and still nothing I'm coming off for a bit before I never play it again!!! 😡 how is someone new to this game supposed to complete this impossible task unless your on 24/7 or AI !!!!!!?

you can complete the reward unlocks without completing the bundle with the tricky recipes. Also, keep collecting the snowballs as it's now the only way to get them, so when you do get the recipes, you'll be able to craft them (whether for the board or not).

However, players shouldn't have to resort to these methods, spending chunks of their time to force a drop, it doesn't feel very respectful of the player's time. The fact that everyone is talking about server hopping, having full inventories, and relogging speaks volumes about how this could have been implemented better. I can see player frustration growing everywhere - from in game chat, Facebook, X, Reddit, Discord, etc. A great game gives players options so they feel that they have some control. Poorly implemented RNG takes that control away from the player and feels more like gambling.

You'll get kilima coins, lunar xp, and friendship points from each bundle board -- so if you don't get a chance to finish the snowy board, you're just missing out on the kilima coins for that bundle

has anyone tried the tincture of infected perception potion and if so is it any good?

since the game is still being actively developed if you rush the quests you will run out of content very quickly, so its recommended to just go at your own pace, the only thing I would say you should get done quickly quest wise is up to the water temple which is like the 5th? main quest because after that you unlock your glider which is very useful, other than that you can do as you like

It lasts for 4hrs just like the angler potion but it doesn't seem to affect all essence drops, sometimes you'll get a increase other times you get the base amount

I'm already at friendship level 5 with Jina and did all the friendship quests. I also already entered in the ruins.

They may reccommend you resync your system's date and time (while Palia is closed), so you can pre-emptively try this to eliminate that step of follow up.

Okay cool -- close Palia and Steam (or epic/launcher/etc), and then right click the date/time in the lower right corner of your screen --> adjust date and time --> 'sync now' button in the middle of the pop up (sync even if it says it's up to date)

Reopen palia, and see if the issue resolved for you. If not, a ticket could be helpful for you.

Well, it is a month long event so you have ample time to complete it. However, the drop rate of the blueprint is ridiculous lol. But you can complete the board with out completing the board so there is that as well

I literally just got it today. So I now need to get the snowy version. It isnt impossible. Just slow going. And you do not have to finish the full bundle to get the prizes if you do your dailies and weeklies and such as well
