The 3am for groves thing is just a courtesy, not a rule, but most seem to follow it.

Unpopular opinion but if someone wants to partake in that game day's grove, they should be in Bahari before midnight.

yeah solo trees spawn around the clock all over bahari, solo trees are fair game if you can get it down solo as far as im concerned, some people call em out cause theyre nice, but ill always call out and wait on a grove, because only 1 grove spawns a day, its for everyone who wants to partake in

I take smalls and mediums solo when they're not part of the grove. When it comes to the grove though, I make sure to be in Bahari before it spawns, then tap all the trees once and take off til I see loot bags on my compass. Sitting there for 3+ in game hours doing nothing but waiting is so boring lol

Precisely. I swear it seems like so much has changed since it went for all systems and many people have no idea what it was like when we first playing this game over a year ago. I learned a lot from the original players, but nearly everything I learned has gone out the window to please others. 24 hours in a game is 30 minutes. You can literally hit the grove twice in an hour.

The single trees get cut down as people find them and respawn several times an hour - those, my understanding is that standards have relaxed. But we now have 3 community events across servers between groves blooms and pixii, and those are all…. Community events 🙂

My second one was up the tall cliff above that fortress place and someone was really struggling with stamina, so we were all cheering them on to get up there and they were really grateful we waited. alright. there's no need for the name calling, there is opinion's from both sides of the coin here, but at the same time it's not a SET IN STONE rule about the grove. this is a cozy online game people can enjoy playing solo or running around and making friends as well. I made 6 lures earlier for myself and I made sure to announce in the server that I was dropping them at maji hollow for the duskwing the more the merrier and bunch of people came and no one threw a fit and everyone collected their bugs

It's also nice to carry a few smoke candles in your backpack just incase. I tend to try avoiding someone else's lure entirely, but if I need a resource near where someone's got a lure going, I'll activate a smoke candle so I at least don't spook their critters.

The thing is ive been bullied in a server when I got frustrated that someone followed me around for 3 lures and sniped the duskwing I needed for a quest. Despite me telling them multiple times nicely to stop/ join my party or how to do lures. And then the people in the server got mad at me and came in here to say it was toxic depsite other people here agreeing with me. Like all those people are blocked now but it was a bad experience

Palia feels really odd to me as an "mmo", because everything about this game is truly a single-player-first experience, with "social activity" slapped on top. Like, nothing about this game is a true MMO experience. I've been playing MMOs since the 90s, before WoW was even a twinkle in devs' eyes, and Palia isn't that. It really reminds me of SWTOR, more than anything. So, yeah, such a single-player focused experience is really going to have issues when it opens up into a multiplayer experience

I am sorry to say this and I do not know if this is still the case, but, if you were friends with someone and removed that person from friends, the game might show you a friend request and you might need to cancel it several times, as it might show up again. I read that this has been fixed, but who knows what might come up again. I do recommend blocking and if that does not work, as has been said a ticket.

You can chop the little ones yourself but big ones need at least 2 people to take down, the wait til 3am thing is just courtesy so more people can have a chance to arrive on site

Flow trees are special trees that are harder to chop as their health regenerates rapidly. So basically you can chop down small ones alone and medium with best quality pickaxe, big ones require 2-3 people. at 12pm in game in Bahari bay a grove of flow trees spawn. you can hit them once so you still get the loot but people usually write "we chop at 2:30/3am"

Just remember you have to pick up from the outside moving inwards towards the base house. So Bay Windows/Fireplaces, then rooms and hallways until you get to the core house.

Its a grind at first. But you'll level quickly. My advice is-
Get all skills to level 10 so u unlock exclusive stuff.
Get all friendships to lvl 3 minimum
Do the main story quests, things may be confusing if you don't

Does anyone have the same problem as I? I finally was able to finish the free pet quest but I cannot use the pet itself. Its in the collections but saying "locked". Someone said I have to talk to Ulfe once more but he is nowhere to be found and my quest is at the completed tab so I dont think that would be the case. Is there anything else to do to get the pet?

If u need to talk to ulfe again he’s back inside where u freed him in the main story line , he’ll ask for another bean burger and flowtato fries with ketchup

You should just switch servers. Go back to your home plot, then go back to the place, do the lure to clear the others and sometimes it shows up

The bundle from the faire once it’s completed gives u a ton of cookies there might be a cosmetic cookie in there or two or just leveling up and buying it on the cash register

On the playstation I just went to controller settings and switch the up, down buttons to what ever I'm using at the time like axe and arrow or axe and bug bag. It's very helpful for switching. Then I switch the controller settings back to default when I'm done
