the game is way too broken for lots of people, and half of them shifted focus to the new quests. tbh it made no sense they would update before the palooza ended causing all this chaos and to try to encourage us to get 10m in one day on top of it is crazy. we didn't even get our first 10m til after 2 days and the other 10m took us 4 days.. lol.

Cottonballs come from the event, highly recommend growing them at home when you find them, you get a second one when fully grown, so you can keep building your stock. I am doing the same.

Not sure the best place to put my suggestion but I just gave a friend a mystery gift and they got a straight up dress (lovely in lilac) but it's a male character and not something he really wants to wear lol. I would suggest maybe finding a way to gift to a more gendered selection with the mystery gift so it's stuff that fits the character better. Now I know a lot of men will wear a dress in game but a lot would also not like to and it feels like a waste of coins for me as the gifter. Just a thought!

It is timed from 12 pm to 4pm. However water and weeding is done by all the players currently there, so once a plant is watered by someone it appeares for everyone :)

Check Star levels. If it takes 2 and you only have one of the right level you get trapped. And if you choose regular level and only have starred,produce it won’t let you cook and you fail the dish

Me too! It was such an important quest, it helped us to learn that while Galdurs are wired to be one way, they can also learn to have different passions and multiple "onenesses" if that makes sense? When it comes to bug reports you will not get a response back from the team.
But it does help with giving them information and knowing there are things going wrong.

Like Tab said, a bug report doesn't guarantee a response. You can always reply to your bug report ticket and state you need assistance to move it to the processing queue. Bug reports come with a caveat (listed on the form) that you're submitting to let the team know for a bug. An auto-email generates and asks you reply to said ticket to get further assistance.

I think you've misunderstood, we don't get sent the cotton ball flowers, you have to go to the flower event in Kilima and there is an RNG chance of getting them at that event.

It's kind of "normal" though for updates to be a bit borked and buggy for the first day or few, so I tend to take new content slowly until the crowds thin out a bit and the devs have re-patched things.

It should definitely work either way. I use one with a dongle. There are some issues, but if you open the big screen to type, everything works great.

The new “flowering bush” seeds obtained in the new flower grove event do not let you collect seeds once they reach maturity when you plant them

The cotton ball flower does produce a new set of seeds when it reaches maturity

The bushes behave like elderwood flower seeds, the cotton ball behaves like insect drop seeds

I did get a couple of the new flowers and bushes and 3 of the new planters so far. They don't seem to be tagged properly though, like my blue bushes are black and my yellow ones say red when hovered lol.
And the ferns and cottonball flowers are completely solid instead of phantom, can't walk through them like other flowers and bushes, which will make moving around a well-decorated plot a bit annoying, since they're so low to the ground.
Otherwise it's a cute little event. I think our watering cans should be unlimited during it though.

it kind of feels like that yes, there’s 2+weeks for this patch (i’m assuming a month not sure) to get caught up , some stuff just takes a little time to gather, use the request feature , i think the hardest would be furniture so you can farm silk threads/buy/request silk cloth, there’s flow wood which can be found in bahari , aim for groves at midnight , if you need help with getting something don’t hesitate to ask but some stuff is going to be rng (like the gems)

I don't think so? People were reporting that they were catching the new plushies with and without any bait at all. Only requirement is to fish where you normally catch the jellies to have a chance at their plushes.

It is exactly for long term players.

For newer players like me, the immediate benefit is mostly the free foraging skill 😂
For older players, it is keeping new things to do so we keep them around, and the game will still be going strong when we get to be older players. We’ve still got all sorts of other quests to do - don’t let FOMO for this one squish your joy in the rest!

When games start aging they have different players at different stages of development. Not all content is for all of them. And that’s honestly as it should be. Ive got hundreds of skill levels to go before I can judge end game players 😂 😂 😂

Aren't all 3 events technically accessible to new players? For the blossom bounce you technically only need the glider which you get pretty early on and for the groves you can only touch the smaller trees or ask someone with a stronger axe to add you to their party

Notice the number of times you have to use the word “technically” there. Practically speaking, new players shouldn’t be in elderwood for more than a quick peak, even if technically there’s nothing stopping them. I got stuck there doing the Auni Prismbeard quest to get auni and Nai’o back in kilima and it was SO CONFUSING…. We are better off hanging out in the early biomes until we progress far enough that elderwoods makes sense, and we habe the skills and tools to harvest resources.

But again, that’s ok!! I can be patient. I’ve got a ton of stuff to do and a list of side quests a page long. I don’t need this event in the same way as an end gamer would.

I8, I4, D5, D6, H6, B6 are all possible locations for the kilima flower event. 12pm-4pm every in game day. At 11:30 an orange swirl will appear just like the groves. The flowers will despawn at 4pm

Some servers are experiencing issues with the event not spawning. You can always try to server hop.

Cottonball flower will produce a new seed when reached maturity.

The new bushes and cypress tree will not produce a new seed once maturity is reached
