Nope, it all stays put as they don't hold specifically in each chest. The chests are more like an access point to your storage.

Sometimes it glitches when upgrading chests, just leave the plot and return and it should be all good.

Your storage shouldn’t change. The only thing that changes is the limits when you pick up a storage. Let’s say they were all maxed out and your cap was 14k and you had 13,987. When you pick one up you still have 13,987 but your storage is “over the limit” of 12,250.

No. When I picked each of mine up to upgrade to the Palium version my items stayed. Not sure why your items are straight up missing. Maybe it’s something a ticket can address.

Theoretically, you would have been at 3,177 out of 3625 once the new chest was placed down, if you have 3,200 items before the upgrade and used 23 resources (out of 3,200 available resources) to craft the upgrade. So you're "missing" 91 other items if you're at 3,086/3625. If you had an idea of what they were, this could help the troubleshooting process of what may have happened. Replacing a chest shouldn't have changed what was inside the chest.

The chest is not a resource, it's a "starter ingredient." The iron and the planks are the items that would be counted in your 3,200 original count prior to upgrade. The chest is not.

There is a weekly reset as well as daily. The recurring achievement that give you coin related to the skill reset on it as well as the home tours. Also pretty sure it was 2 hours ago and not in 22. It is same for everyone.

Despite the fact me and my party are the ones dropping the lures, so it'd be just perfect if we were entitled to any drops related to bugs that spawned within that lures range and random people would still get theirs, if they hit the bugs. Win win

The amount of rocks I needed to gather was horrifying but I'm liking the progress so far
This specific plot is actually going to be a hotel where the rooms inside will showcase the different furniture sets so each room will be different theme (well, hopefully with the white/pale pink/pale purple colours). The hotel itself is made out of the rooms from Palia town shop. I just need to tweak the insides of the rooms to fit in extra rooms because there's soo many furniture sets, yo! Haven't started working on the housing part yet.
Couldn't decide what to make for the entrance, so decided to let my mind do its own thing!~ The 2 sections either side of the entrance are both rooms with a path going up to the rooftop of the stone structure.

You have to slowly collect it one by one and store it in storage.You can pick up a room and try to put it away and anything inside will poof into your storage as well

Takes a min but its worth it when you do start over

Oh I don’t mind that. Like I don’t even mind taking everything outside and placing it down in the farthest corner and then getting rid of the house and starting a rebuild. But also, does that mean I have to rebuild every room again? Like with the materials and everything…because that actually might be what makes it not worth it and I’m just stuck with the really dumb layout I made when I didn’t know what I was doing

no once you build a large room for example its there in storage till you want to plop it down and itll be fully built
