If you have the basic fishing rod, it has some intentional input lag, it will feel "heavy"

Higher tiers of fishing rod are more responsive

There seems to be a bug I think still in the Temple of the Gales quest line. I have completed the Temple of the Gales, have completed the Keeper of the Waves, and Flames, but Caleri is still at the Temple of the Gales, not in the village and I can't get the discussion with Caleri to trigger the Keeper of the Gales quest, which now makes me stuck and I cannot progress. Can't start the Rooted in Place quest either. Is there something I'm missing, or is there still a bug?

Really? I think the change has made gold so much better. Whacking 1 large node of it gave me 16 ore the other day, whereas before they had their own nodes, I could mine for hours and barely get enough to smelt a single bar of gold. Used to always get more gold from my kitsuu statue than I did from mining.

Went to the river in Bahari for sashimi and took almost 4 irl hours for me, while my comrades both got them earlier than me…I had to give the river a stern talking to, but expedition was a success!

No, i mean the axe doesn't deal enough damage so the tree still regenerates
