i've found that using a tuning rod, even if you're not looking for nodes, helps get rare fish. maybe it's just mental trickery but it's worked for me

no not really, personally i do some water in a jar thats around 60 degrees celsius otherwise it will be bitter matcha and then i add matcha powder mix it alittle bit with a spoon and then do the lid on the jar and give it a good shake like your life depends on it. i also heat up some milk and add it together with some vanilla syrup because i like it and then add the milk and syrup first and then the matcha and ta daaaa!

So how i do it is either ill poof to my house (usually to empty my bags) and then ill head back out to say bahari for example. Another way is to goto the signs and goto kilima for a second and then poof back to bahari. The chat will tell you if you have joined a new server

i would say: steam has a notes thing i recently learned about you can use for games, and there’s steam achivement a? (idk if their seperate from game or if their just the same thing). idk more than that tho cuz i play on launcher

as someone who plays on steam here are some benefits (if any of them matter)
-you can track achievements and hours played
-no need to login everytime
-steam notes (as mentioned)
-palia steam has smaller size (though from what i understand, every palia launcher has the same size)
-if you play games on steam, why would you then install a seperate launcher when you can just download it from steam (or epic games for that matter)
-if you want to use controller, you can do so (i think it should be available regardless of launcher)

There is no Bad Luck Protection/Pity system. If you catch 249 L.F. Moths , you are not guaranteed a L.F. Moth plush on the 250th. The drop rates are dice rolls; for example every moth you catch triggers a dice roll between 1 and 250. If the number lands on 1, it drops a plush. It is purely Luck of the RNG.

So because of that, some people might prefer a larger focus bar instead of focusing on the Focus % which depletes faster.

wonderful, doing well, just keep going as you are and increase your levels as much as you like, completing quests to gain more renown, we have charts over charts of achievements and accomplishments in the game. Plenty to keep one busy

Even with max focus bar you will waste focus with some dishes (cake, muujin bahari, lucky braised fish) so it's not that big of a deal

If you want to level faster, and don't mind cooking more/eating more etc, then go for Focus %. If you don't want to carry as much, and youre moreso wanting to vibe and not think about it as much (you still do, just not as frequently from what i remember, been a bit), go for a bigger focus bar/cap. Def up to you!

Point still stands, you'd need to refresh more quickly. The boosting super important unless you're actively trying to push a skill. Plus, it's less wasted

How to grind rtb:

Go to Hideaway Bluffs just before 3am. Activate the buzzy jar right at 3am or a few ingame minutes before that.
Run around the South Bahari area, catching all blue butterflies (you don't have to pick them off the ground) and going to all buzzy jar pings. Don't catch anything but blue butterflies and rtb.

Hope this helps. You can expect between 0 and 4 rtbs per buzzy jar with this method depending on your luck. It also depends on how crowded the server is and how many people are running around. It's quite possible that an rtb spawns but someone beat you to it

With this method you'll still probably need like 10 buzzy jars and a couple days, but it's better than aimlessly looking

That seems like if you reload the zone you are in it will probably fix it sort of issue.

Are you still in the tutorial? It's known to have graphical glitches. Finish the tutorial for it to go back to normal

When I was new. It seems like before I ever ccaught a fish the first time it was harder to catch. And then once I caught my first one I would catch them at a much higher rate
