I think you might have to tell them you want to keep upon reset... Most who did reset and kept them said they asked to keep... So unsure if it's a default thing they do or not. I would ask support first see what they say since they can be hit or miss and sometimes depends what agent you connect with

nps, tis a normal routine for them - Palia's days are Tuesdays for updates/patches/etc (usually last tuesday of the month) - nowadays they average at 3hours downtime where you won't be able to login and play. With this one being bigger and 2 consoles being added at once, the potential for it to be longer is much bigger.

Yeah it used to be a quest reward but they really simplified that original quest down a lot to the point it removed any recipes you originally got.
Sucks too cause that means cooking away till hitting level 20 in that skill before buying it from Reth

I got originally from the quest but that was a small while ago. The palia wiki shows that in recent patches the quest got dumbed down to speak frankly.
Used to get petite fives and oysters recipe then that muujin recipe as a reward at the end.
Now the quest doesn't give anything and you're only required to just get ingredients for Reth instead of cooking anything yourself.

You don't need to if you want to explore the area. No area is level gated in palia thankfully. But you should at least have your tools maxed out if you want to be able to gather any rare stuff in the new region since even in bahari Bay the starting level tools don't do much for the specialized resources. Safe to say the same for such resources in the new region.

But that's really a player choice and isn't the main focus of the game. You can easily just focus on main quest and do your own thing for exploring and house building.
The recommendation for leveling up relations with npcs is that you get access to some specific recipes for food or decor as rewards from some of their quests.

When that happens I try to server hop, otherwise I am assuming one could wait for resources to respawn.

Seeing as there isn't full on trading in game it's less of an advantage to have multiple accounts. Each character would have to work their way up anyway before they could request stuff or trade something they have for something your other character has

Yeah! Im on a 1.4 acre lot and I had(have) berry bushes growing on all edges of my property and a large patch in a clearing down the back. They were here forever exploring the bushland (and meeting my dog) and 6 liked it because he got to run inside and ask for a snack.

They will seem convincing, telling you that your account will be banned unless you comply and contact this person for the "investigation" within 3 hours, which is not true.

Any interaction with Steam needs to be done through their official website/application ONLY, and they do NOT operate outside of Steam itself.

Tips:
If you get a friend request or a message from someone you do not know, check their profile info for when the account was created. - Most of them will be created recently.

If you get a message from a friend telling you this story, they may have been hacked. Make sure they are the real person using the account by asking them a question only they would know, or have them join a call or a video chat.

In Sims Online we had that type of thing. Only 4 job types but it was a fun alternative way to earn some gold 🙂 The usual way was staying up 24/7 with your house open and charge for access to your learning tools and food/drink etc

At the moment, as far as I know the npcs have their birth stones which I think are treated as loved gifts if you get it right. Worth keeping a couple of each for this purpose until more options come up. Starred ones can also be placed to show off more of your skilled luck at getting rng items from skills - I'm not jealous of those lucky peeps .. nope .. not at all

A lot of people has compared the switch and PC version of this game. A lot of people say it's easier to do fishing on switch because like it's kind of feels like... Animal crossing kind of.
But with hunting and specially when chappa catching at the market people say it's kind of better too have PC because I'm guessing the mouse movement you're moving quicker.
