Regardless of what other games currently do or what they have accomplished, they chose a business model and built their game around it. Palia has done the same. Free to play is still a for-profit business model, and it affects the entire game. To reference your dreamlight valley example, even though they pivoted to a paid game last minute, I think it was always a potential outcome they had planned for. Their premium currency was already earnable in-game, and they added another feature that allowed players to earn even more. Palia has absolutely no way to earn any premium content or just additional cosmetics in their game. And that is just one aspect that would need to change for a paid platform to work. It's not as simple as increase price = make more money

I've always been an "add don't subtract" with DLCs. Nothing important should hide behind them, all while they maintain value. So if they expand by giving more options (such as above) I'd be okay with that as long as there are some free options too, not completely locked

You can place buildings and decor anywhere on your housing plot so long as you have bought that piece of land with a writ (from Kenyatta at City Hall) and there is nothing like another piece of decor or a building or gather-able items in the way.

Yes tbh, there is no option to remove random followers. We are stuck with them, adding them and removing them still keeps them as followers, so only way is to add them , see them online ask them to remove you.. lol

We really need an option to be able to remove those and also the option in party to be able to remove anyone in list that is offline too.

Yeah its definitely a lot to learn, I went from a prebuilt and slowly upgraded to the point it was my own build. It was definitely worth it though.

on rare occasions you may find a tech savvy person at a pc parts store who may be willing to advise you on what to get and all, but tis rare.... but if you find such a gem in a store, gotta save that persons contact. I still have contact to my IT professors from University and both told me they are willing to respond to any questions if I had any doubts for my build, since I've mainly done parts swapping and minor upgrades to my current prebuilt lol

The funny part for me, is it was right as covid was hitting, and my partner was picking out things to built their PC and i was like oooo let me do that. I was able to build mine faster, because i already had a graphics card from my prebuilt while graphics cards were no where to be found.
