I sure wish Palia would put a tip on the loading screen or something about waiting until 3AM to chop groves. although it is annoying when players who don't know chop earlier, it is even more offputting when people are nasty about it when they call those players out rudely.

yeah i think it'd probably just get nastier if it was put as a loading screen tip because people would then take it as an official endorsement from s6 that nobody should chop a grove before 3am and anyone who does should be attacked and reported.

the reality is there's no rule against doing so, and plenty of people know about the 3am etiquette and choose not to follow it.

forexample, if thy make it the trees are immune until 3am then they can have that as a tip something like “get ready to chop trees at 3am ”

at least we can also grow flow trees on our plots now too. things used to be way worse. before groves existed, "flow tree parties" meant spending hours cutting down every tree in bahari to make flow trees spawn

They could make it so when the first person steps into the grove, it starts a 5 minute timer, so that it's not tied to a specific time point in the game since groves are found at different times

yep, I'd have ignored them then and now, but this time around you can mine them no problem. What happens is that each node has a phase to it. So even if you've mined it, another player will still see it and can get it as well

the timer kicks in and will glow faster, the less time the node has, poof, respawn, next 😄

you will need to have a Fine Pick at the very least - which is obtained upgraded at level 6 mining or you can party up with a friend that is already at that level to party loot anything they mine etc, using a ore compass is a great tool to locate all Palium nodes but it also locates iron nodes as well

Palium is found from nodes that can be found near cliffs in Bahari Bay northern and southern zones, as well as inside the Pavel Mines. All over Bahari bay except of course the coast.

It used to be that the mine would disappear once someone mined it and you had to wait for a respawn. Now it stays for a short while so if someone happens to be nearby they can also mine it before it disappears

There is chances to spawn more than once in an evening which is great. I start right at 6:00 pm and then run around in circles until I get the ping on my compass. Knowing which are dragonflies and which are lady bugs based on location will help eliminate unnecessary trips

As far as I know there's only the Pheonix Shrine and the Dragon Shrine, the Pheonix Shrine boosts the amount of exp you gain per focus point and the Dragon Shrine boosts your maximum focus pool in general
