I been debating on switch 2 or steam deck. Fortnite is getting 120fps on switch 2 so had me thinking if Palia would be a lot smoother and be able to have similar qualities to PC/Steam

If it always crashes in a specific area of the game
That means a possible memory leak.

Memory leaks are when your RAMs start getting bombarded with info (polygon counts) in a specific area that wasn't properly cleared yet, where it piles up real fast and crashes the whole aplication

Like making a check in on a hotel room, then leaving the place and not checking out

Keeping the room shut off for other people

If people can crash at the spawn point for Kilima, then they gotta check what is causing the leak around the spawn area specifically

I personally know what reasons cause Pure virtual function calling errors in any game... in my case, I run game on a high end gaming pc. I have had the error from the very first loading screen, won't make it to plot. First click post putting in credentials and click from that second, error hits ,close game. crash log, try again.

I am sure everyone is wise enough to not do that, but I know some can be so desperate for plushies. I once saw someone commented that they "bought" the plushie with real money because no one wanted to trade
though it was unclear whether is the madrinas one or other limited
S6 should address this tho, I know it would be a good benefit for them, but they should protect the players from unwanted results

From what I've heard, Madrinas is limited but those of us not buying will get something similar? It's been a while, so I don't remember the details of it at all, so please don't take my word for it

The limited ones are all in the same problem pool though. Such as the flutterfoxes or Nibbles the Drake. Unlike (let's say) rtb or bluujin, they can't be obtained by hunting down the IRL (...IG) counterparts. There's no new way to get them besides trading.
It'd do well to occasionally re-release them. I'm specifically thinking of the log-in ones here, but could apply to any limited plush not related to a sale (such as giving Madrinas as a log-in). I think it'd help some of those desperate traders if they knew they'd get it eventually.

yes for the madrinas pink maji plushie, there’s their campaign one and in the future (not sure when) players will be able to obtain a different version of it (if it’s just a name change or a size change or something else will depend on what they decide to do) , but if you want the drink one you have to spend real money on it for that campaign, unless gotten from trades*

not usually no.. they can be quick about things, depending on what the issue is. If it can wait until the next patch they will, however things such as this, no they would attend to right away, which they are, but seems they have not found the culprit as yet that is causing these crashes. As for communication, I agree... would be great to just have another update assuring everyone that they are still investigating and will keep us informed.

in the launcher you should be able to right click on palia in your games library and there should be an option to uninstall

in epic launcher it says i only have 14 mb to uninstall,

nvm i checked the folder its in with properties and its 19 gigs there, and watching the folder while epic uninstalled it confirmed that it was all uninstalled, so it was just a problem with epic not showing the full size

Fast travelling more, not nearly as many crashes. As for the UG crashes; I've been either going in through the drain entrance or || Reth's storeroom passage||

If you are on PC, you can do the "something is in the way" bypass.
Take another decor item that produces the same error when you try to put it on the stool. Can even be a second chapaa
Place that item somewhere like the ground. Keep the chapaa in your inventory and remember what number it's on.
Then pick up the item you placed on the ground and move it on the stool, so it says the error. Then press the number of the chapaa and the left click at the same time.
Keep trying until it places

not really no.. Support could do this for you if you ask, but no guarantees, also risk losing any premium items you may have bought or plushies.. other option is create another account. Start fresh.

You can change keybinds, so that you don't accidently always grab your fishing rod instead of arrow.. Or on the tool wheel, change the spot for them, move them to be apart from each other. Just takes getting used to.
