Have you tried the trick where you fill your backpack? Put one if each seed you own in a slot and fill the rest with random items. When you go to collect the seed if it says inventory full you will get one you don't have. If it says loot leave your plot and try again.

It's probably to protect the privacy of the recipient.
If they let the gifter choose the outfit, you run into a problem where the recipient may already own that outfit. If they show an error message when you try to gift an outfit that the recipient already owns, it would be trivially easy to find out which outfits that person has. And some people would rather you not do that

Once you finish a certain quest you get this machine that gives you tree seeds every day. Sometimes they give you a flow seed. A flow seed is one of the purple trees.

From what it looks like in the gif, there was no "reject" button. And according to the faq, you can't do refunds (which I understand, but still). It's honestly very frustrating. I dont want to be gifted things that I know I don't want or like. In that instance, it isnt a pretty great deal for me, or the person gifting. It's a waste.

Was there consideration to perhaps implement a "reroll" system for the recipient? Say I open a gift from a friend and get something I hate, such as the hotdog outfit. If there were a "reroll" and a "claim" button, I could reroll maybe twice in order to avoid outfits I abhor or could disturb my gameplay (ie flashy effects). Third outfit is "you get what you get, we tried."

But there has been a lot of things that have, genuinely, not felt like it was taken into consideration unless we started talking about it and critiquing it a lot in the discord. Example: Snowballs. They weren't fixed for over a year, which was an actual health hazard to folks, and it only got fixed after we kept talking about it when they released them again.

Ok, let me tell you (was meant as a reply to WC, but I forgot to hit reply) what should have happened:

• Lootboxes shouldn't have been introduced in a game that aims to rate for kids 10 years and up.
  But ignoring that for a moment, if you're gonna introduced lootboxes:
• Skip it just being for gifting. People will make alts, or get others to gift for them.
• Being able to reject gifts, or prevent yourself from being in the giftable friends list should be an option. As it is this allows for really bad guilt-tripping and bad power dynamics.
• Some kind of filtering for outfits. I.e., categorizing them. Like being able to ensure whoever you gift gets a gift that isn't just a joke gift (like someone spending money and ending up giving me the awful Hot Dog fit, or a Femme Fatale outfit which I would be a bad fit for me).
• Do not release a monetary feature until it is properly fleshed out and released.
• Also, there is very little about making it gifting and lootboxy that prevents fraud prevention. Like, someone could create an alt, load it up with gift outfits for what you feel is a "steal of a deal" and sell the account. Bingo bango money secured.
  Again though, lootboxes should just not be in this game. There have been so much good feedback on how to make players more willing to spend. This is not one that earns favour with the community at large. You're still in beta and seemingly dropping players, you've already lost so much favour with the community, but instead of listening to the feedback you are getting in this beta you are just adding more and more things that frustrate players.

I play a game called SWTOR and patch days are always insane at my house cuz we all try to update the game at the same time 😂 the lag is INSANE

I understand that the vibe is not great here on patch days. But I will say that even "non-constructive" feedback is still feedback. It shows that users are dissatisfied with a feature or the state of things.

Many people who nowadays just throw jokes and whatnot used to provide ample and good feedback. Unfortunately, S6 has time and again the last close to a year now chosen to ignore the community, shoot a lot of feedbacj down, provide misinformation, gaslight tge playerbase, and so on.

At some point even reasonable people reach their limit. They may love the game and the promise it held, and still see that there is potential in it if Singularity 6 has a change of heart and starts to respect their player... but at some point you've spent so much time and effort only to be disrepected by S6 that the vibes do turn sour. The decisions of the company has helped foster this culture of anger.

If someone likes the game and has no qualms, that's fine. I am happy for those who still find enjoyment from the game. But honestly, a lot of the anger (not all of it, but a lot) is also justified.

A lot of us are starved for actual content updates - new quests, skills, gameplay features, etc.

Idk every update day I read the patch notes as its being patched. The servers go down, they post the patch notes for us to read while we wait. Thats always how its been lol.
