There's a bug with the UI. If you have a lot of fish species (6+), the modal widens by 1 fish and consequently shifts the confirm button. When you click the confirm button, hold down your mouse button and move your cursor to be above the confirm button again before you let go. Then your selected fish will work.

It isn't just sashimi that is impacted, but any recipe that opens that selection modal. Smaller varieties, such as modals with meat selections, still have the same movement on mouse down, but it is negligible because the modal doesn't resize itself as much and you're significantly more likely to still have your mouse on the confirm button.

I love the farming style games bc there's always something to do and they're very cozy/chill. Another game you might want to check out that's a similar playstyle are the My Time games- My time at Portia and My Time at Sandrock. Sandrock is newer and a lot better, Portia's art style reminds me of early 2000s shows like rocket power/as told by Ginger/ Wild Thornberries which definitely isn't for everyone but they changed the art up in Sandrock and it looks nice. But the gameplay in both of those is super fun and had me hooked too

Oh and another game that looks like it would be a stardew ripoff but is pretty unique and really fun is Traveller's Rest, you can farm/cook and upkeep an inn :)

I absolutely love the decorating in this game though. Hands down the best other than Sims!

With the insane amount of custom settings you can do, it can literally be the most cozy experience of straight exploration and unlimited base building

The building/decorating in this is 100% probably one of my favorites though. Yeah I have to work for it in a way, but it feels rewarding and less like a chore. I genuinely look forward to working my way to making my ideal plot.

Late response but I'm just logging on and saw this and thought I'd share.
That achievement is still bugged for many of us here (myself included) who completed that Temple before the game was released on Steam, even after going back and re-reading all of the Tomes multiple times. I've been corresponding back and forth with Support on the issue since April of last year and we are still waiting for the devs to resolve this for us.

as for flow trees, you can try and find groves, they spawn at 12am in game and spawn a lot of flow trees

do note that because of the lunar new year event, most are probably at the fairground grinding tickets for items to buy so dont expect a lot of people in bahari bay
