I had this issue. What I had to do was go into Tamala's room and read the recipe book there to trigger another quest for her, which allowed me to use the cauldron. After that, I could complete the other missions.

Well the biggest thing that was added since then is probably the house tour feature, you can look at other people's housing plots for inspiration (kinda like Animal Crossing dream addresses, if you've played that)
Maji Market is now a permanent reoccurring event, it runs every month for a week

I have not tried this game but I remember so distinctively when I was 8 years old and I turned on my PS1 for the first time, FF7 loaded and hearing Nobuo Uematsu's opening cinematic music got me hooked on game music. Jerry Goldsmith's score to Mulan (1998) also made me want to be a composer. It is my goal to bring this kind of experience to players as well to be inspired by the music 🙂

Some items can be trashed via the destroy button in your inventory screen. But, for things like furniture and other decorative items they don't take up storage space so can just be placed in storage .. or placed on an out of the way lot for hidden storage 🤣 And Tish likes them as gifts

Grand Harvest house is two stories, and I've seen several people do a great job making it three stories. You can't expand off that unfortunately.

Not a lot of utility in multiple stories though. I easily hit my limit in the flat plot space I have.

Can make multiple stories via building blocks, but then you're limited to the plot decor limit, which was raised to 3k. but using building blocks makes that limit number come quickly.

I mean it is scummy. They dont provide an in game rotating clothing shop (like animal crossings) In order to reinforce people paying for premium outfits because it's the only option.
This new "battlepass" thing is scummy. The playercount is hanging on by a thread, so lets add a currency option that gives them the currency if they log in every day for a month! Theyre really trying to get people to stay on the game, and pay for it lol

Personally I think the next two updates will make or break the game, they did address snailgate and colorgate (assuming after a fair few of us talked to WC about the lack of communication and false advertising) if we still don't get the garden snail, and the tints as well as some GOOD quality bug fixes (whitescreening, decor being broken etc) I don't think they will have a leg to stand on when it comes to elderwoods.

the tricky thing with crossplay is that there's a server somewhere, which still needs to be able to operate with all four of the clients, so in general they need to have the same assets/ codes/ functions across all of them at the same time. otherwise if a player went from one to the other, they could crash the game (or worse) trying to use something they had that didn't exist, etc.

best i can explain is in infinity nikki you can buy a monthly "sub" (it is optional) but in palia case instead of pink diamonds its palia coins also if you save up for 2 or so months you can start getting like 1 outfit or so and start collecting (i mean the costumes that are like 1000+ in coins)

it's not always as simple as patching everything and putting it with their new things, not all bugs or glitches are the same, and some can take a long time to fix and can even end up BREAKING other things if something is missed or done incorrectly, adding new items also means they could have more to work around with the bugs they're already working on depending on how they're meant to interact if at all

Unfortunately that's the way software goes. New and shiny things bring in more dollars than fixing bugs and improving performance. There's time allocated to fix issues, but it is a prioritized list that gets chipped away slowly.

To be fair it’s not uncommon for pre-release patch notes to just mention what’s new and only reveal bug fixes when the full notes when everything’s out. Mainly because bug fixes already exist and generally aren’t as interesting as new things and pre-release patch notes are to increase interest. It’s just what games have done for years, sure maybe not everyone but it’s not surprising.

Gossamers flutter around between 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM around Kilima Valley, including Leafhopper Hills and Reflection Fields. But luring them makes it much more easier

I thought that at the start but now I find it's scattered and totally random. Place where I once continuously went to get palium now rarely have any spawn

Palium is all over bahari , most of though is in Pulsewater region, south of bahari zone. However really server hopping helps and trying all day, as the spawns really have been more lately I have found.

Caves always spawn lots , and hilltops and around the cliffs of mountains lower

You can get the randomly from zekis coin machine or you have to be level 10 farming to buy them from badruus guild

For example I've had abuse in the chat for no reason from someone who clearly had had a bad day and I just took photos of it. A voice chat I wouldn't of had any way of doing that.
