can anyone explain to me why when I have put 3k items on my plot the number of items on my plot keeps increasing? it is making it to where I can't replace things and makes it seem like I need to remove some of the original 3k items to be able to change anything.

if you break up it acts as if you were always just friends iirc. it does set your romance back to 0, but you keep the pin if you have it and and any quest items you've unlocked. the quests can't be done a second time if you decide to romance them again

The party system in the game has benefits when you stay near party members within radius ~35m can have the chance to double the loot from activities. Mining, hunting... Ect that drop loot are the same drop for party members. In shorts it's better when playing with party . Each party can only be up to 4 players

Depends on the cheat. A bunch of cheats have little-to-no effect to a player. But it can also mean in market, particularly during chase they'll just get almost everything. During hunting they'll just take down everything (or everything of value) without you getting a chance. I suppose the same with bugs as well.

Most other cheats I've heard about, while technically still cheats, iirc don't really have a direct negative effect on others.

Honestly, barely ever stumbled upon any cheaters. But I've seen people who have, and understand their frustration when it does happen. Even more so during more limited events. That said, some cheats seem to have built-in ways to avoid other players, which I assume a lot of them would use so as to not get caught, so most of the time it won't affect them.

That said, even with avoidance, imagine pulling out one of those hunting horns... and there's barely anything showing up on the compass, and the rare few times they do it only lasts a few seconds before they disappear again (because someone teleported to the magical animal that is outside your view and instakilled it).

There is a difference between the game glitch where it shows other players in different position than they actual are (but any action they do still happens in the correct location, so any bow shots they make still come from the position they are actually at, and not the glitched position), and people actually cheating, floating around with no gravity and being able to shoot from wherever they want.

In some cases you can't, in some cases you can. As said before though, when they do actions, the actions should happen from their real location.

So say we're in the balloon pop game, if a player is standing on the docks and firing arrows, and the game glitches so it shows as if they are under, the arrows will still fly out from the real location they are in on the dock.

If they are floating in the air, far in front of the docks, and the arrows come from the middle of the air where you see them floating, then it's 99% not a glitch. Because the arrows again should come from where they really are... and that means they're really in the air.

You're not wrong in that there's a bunch of games that are indeed bug-filled and broken, but I don't think that S6 should try for a "other games are broken, so it's okay for us to be". That just furthers a bad industry mentality. They also aren't developing a game out of charity. It is a product, and in my opinion should be treated as such, particularly since it is effectively trying to get people to spend money on it.

And if we as players like the game, or the concept the game tries to provide us, then the best we can do in order for to help it improve is to provide feedback and let them know how we feel about it.

Not really what I said, but since we're on that subject now, let me shortly air my opinion on it. Of course, this is just my view. The amount of feedback they genuinely take in is minimal, they straight up miss important feedbacks and bugs (i.e. snowballs), they do an awful job at prioritization, they must have a badly made codebase for some of the bugs to pop up the way they do, their quality assurance process is broken in some way, and they focus way too much on monetization at the moment. If they are trying, they are doing it in very wrong ways, and aren't really taking it on board when people constructively point that out.

I really think the only major issues for this game are: 1) Not enough locations to rotate your gameplay loops. 2) No core gameplay loop.

As it stands, house design is not a core loop and no game has ever been able to really get away with making it a core loop without incredible amounts of expenditures on assets. Which this game has not been doing there isn't nearly enough decor content...primarily housing and house variety is almost nothing still. Animal Crossing got away with it by giving you an entire island to design.

This game is an incredible series of side-content tier interactions...but without something like Stardew's Farming or Animal Crossing Village design? I don't really see any of the current gameplay being meaty enough to satisfy a core loop that is deep at all. It's all surface level and short stint gameplay. Gardening is like 3 minutes of work an hour. The rest is just gathering. Fishing is simplistic. These things would be fine if thre was a core complex gameplay loop that these things were just breaks from

Id say its going uphill, because it launched poorly and that's kind of the problem. They ran out of money, rushed to market, and it wasn't passed the point of parity needed to be a full game

The problem is they've focused on minor tasks around the core problem, but haven't given any indicator they are going to fix the core problem...which is lack of gameplay depth in any area. Not a single new addition to the game has added gameplay depth, just more shallow things to do

July 30th, Aug 27th, Sept 24th, Oct 22nd, Nov 21, and Dec 17th.
And last years LNY began on the 30th of January.

Hey guys. I'm playing Palia on steam deck while docked. On startup and every 5-10min my audio starts stuttering during certain sounds. If I press the steam button twice it temporarily fixes it but I want a real fix. Anybody got one?

There is a known issue when playing Palia on the deck, docked in desktop mode, hooked to pc monitor, the game will play fine for about 10-15min, then it will start to lag a bit and has some audio lag, stuttering, cutting in and out and makes the game not easy to play.

(ie: having a monitor hooked up via HDMI to the dock, and having manually set both steam deck and the game's resolution the problem comes up fast)

For some I recall, to resolve this was stated - set all resolution to be default and the issue takes longer to occur.
(Its a suspected performance throttle issue) or really simply compatibility issues with audio.

▫️ the only other temp fix was when it starts happening, just press the steam button and let the menu open, and then just close the menu by the pressing the steam button again.

however, playing just handheld runs smoothly with no problems at all really.

Apart from keeping or resetting resolution to default settings or the abovve mentioned, I have not followed further on this matter sorry. This has been the only workaround that I have heard. It helps but it isnt great

playing just handheld, no real issues, so it really has something to do with dock and being connected to cables to pc etc all we know, some compatibility issues

And sorry to be a pain in asking, when you say Default do you mean the resolution the game is at or is there a Default resolution setting?

Yes I believe its just keep the default resolution settings for game itself that you have
