You've probably got to be running around a bigger area to utilize the compass better. Start in the north or south, mine everything you see, then as you run out of pings run or travel via the stables to the other side of the map and there should be more pal and large nodes on that end now that you forced a bunch of nodes out of the other side of the map- rinse and repeat. If you're still lacking pings on your map, server hop to someone's bahari server on your friends list. Every compass you use you should be making at least a full circuit around Bahari, not just staying in one area- this is how you drive more pal ore to spawn in empty slots.

Once you're out of pings in the north, go to hideaway and watch your compass light back up repeat a couple times and you should net 50+ pal ores per compass once you get into a comfy personal route/method!

there’s two shrines. dragon is the one in maji’s hollow. you can use renown to increase your focus bar at that one. Phoenix shrine is like what kira said — iirc it’s not exactly where you spawn, but you have to visit it in order to continue with main quest storyline. You can up the speed of how quickly you level up by visiting this shrine.

i think you’re still conflating shrines with temples.

there are two shrines. accessing them involves walking to them. you can spend renown to up your focus or focus bonus (makes you gain focus faster.) they are both in kilima.

the temples are main story and more like dungeons in a zelda game or smth. they have nothing to do with your focus or focus bonus.

Well I have put a tree on the present and placed it inside my home. Though the next time I come back to my plot, after being offline or visiting the village aso, the tree is now outside my plot, where you spawn when you come to your plot

So the tree does not stay where I put it

the present however is still where I put it

Same things happens to my storage chest if i put them on a building block, they get moved outside too

Well, it should be... Keep in mind when messing with this kind of building stuff you have to regularly go out to the village and back to see if there are any changes or anything that doesn't follow what you want. The thing with stations and crafters on building blocks being yeeted out is well known that's why you have to check before you are off. Also have you checked the tree still connected to the present, when you look at the present and highlight it, does the tree also be highlighted?
