Hmm, interesting. Wonder if they've unintentionally activated or deactivated (depending on how it was before) some global illumination stuff. Didn't save old logs so can't go back and compare, but did see some Lumen references and deactivation of that in logs... although I'd assume that was always deactivated since this started on UE4.

Yeah but you have to have nothing in the way for way more space than you'd think and you have to angle the housing selection menu about 45° to get it to register the front window sockets- this also applies for if you ever wanna remove one!

I tried too yeah, real shame. You could probably either do detached placement or like, build a fake ceiling to get ceiling lights if you really wanted it. I just put down floor lights instead as its easier too

With that last patch, my chocolate avatar was giving "needs lotion ASAP". But I played around with gamma (went from .05 to .04) and then toyed with my screen settings out of game and I got it almost back to normal. This last patch has it almost perfect now.

Rant incoming: I'mma be honest. Bugs happen, game dev is hard... but at this point it's starting to feel like a game being developed by the likes of me, some dude sitting in his room in the dark playing with Unreal Engine 5 for the first time, not professionals. Maybe the ground floor devs are not the ones at fault here, maybe they are... Whether the failure is on developer level, management level, or both, overall Singularity 6 is managing to continuously death spiral the game. Some bugs are totally understandable, some of the critical bugs too that lead to downtime can be understandable, and the occasional accidental fault is fine... but there are just so many constant failures at this point.

Players and this Discord are practically their first line customer support employees for free. And once again their work has created issues. The snail though is just the cherry on top... not because of the snail, but both because they prioritized communicating about that instead of broken crafters, and for how easy it is to prove that their annoucement was just pishposh. If they'd just said "oops, we didn't mean to bring the big snail plush in this update, sorry for including it in trailer" that'd be fine, but practically going "nope, your eyes are wrong, is lil ' snail" is... urh.

Adjusting the settings does not always help for some people. This is one of the main issues when they don't have decent lighting to begin with (where it can differ from some thinking ti's too bright, some too dark, etc), and having only a gamma slider. Instead of having one that adjusts Brightness & contrast separately...

Not to mention, S6 seems to like to have moments where they like to mess with the brightness/color settings on their side for fun (i doubt it's for fun, ofc, but this isn't the first time this has happened.)

As someone who also loves the game, yall all said it better than I have the spoons for currently, but I'm on hiatus since they reintroduced the market because I've not enjoyed the way they've been managing the game recently. Was really hopeful about the acquisition, even in the face of building disappointment, but it's been tough to keep the hope alive as someone who's been around this space heavily for almost a year now. It's okay to be sad about the state of the game versus what has been promised. Accessibility especially, that in and of itself has been a sour tasting pill to swallow and I like sour candy fam. I'm glad all sorts of folks can have these conversations here because they're not only essential for the growth of the game, but for the community itself to feel seen and heard and not dismissed. I'm genuinely glad you didn't, and neither did I have issues on my own plot... it doesn't affect everyone, but many here was hit by it, and it ruined their builds, some still can't even find their crafting stations anymore.

Make sure the twitch stream you're watching is not muted in the twitch window when you're watching. Also, refreshing the page shows the updated progress, it's not a live update if you're in your drops inventory tab as it probably should be

Did the twitch stream you're watching end and it moved you to another that isn't palia related? It could also be an issue with the drops themselves being incorrectly labeled which has happened before. If the issue persists it would be a support issue.

Just remember that the real value of the plushies traded isn't their rarity, but how the people trading them away feel. To that person they may have a bunch of them or just not like them, so they might feel the fish worthless and don't really care. Maybe the commons you have are exactly what they wanted.
