Normally, it should auto-equip under accessories. If it didn't, double check your inventory, and then your storage, to see if you can find the item at all so you can equip it yourself.

And as @manic gorge mentioned, they are a bit bugged atm where gliders look invisible. As long as you can double jump, and glide, then it's fine.
