Many people are getting tired and frustrated with the state of the game, that things don't seem to be fixed for ages, definitely not within a reasonable amount of time, that things keep breaking in a ways that make it impossible to enjoy the game, or even make it hard to provide feedback on actual mechanics because the game itself doesn't work properly. The impression I get is that the codebase is an absolute mess, errors are slipping through (and for too long) that should not have slipped through, and a lot of people feel like their feedback on the game has no effect whatsoever.

Is feedback like "it doesn't work waste of our time" the most constructive? No. But it is still valid feedback that echoes the frustration of players with the current state of affairs. So nothing wrong with that. Telling people to just not play the game if they experience issues is however not constructive. It does not help the game survive, and, even if there isn't that much specificity in it, it robs developers of feedback about the state of their game.

We all also know that they are being managed by a large corporation, so palia isn't the sole focus anymore. It isn't going to have the small group of individuals who work closely together anymore. As much as I do agree with a bunch of what you are saying, it's not the mechanics that seems to be the problem in the case that started this all, but replication and backend, which is a tad bit more involved than coding the mechanics itself. I do think there is a much higher failure rate than acceptable, but it's not just if actor.inPenTrigger then isHoldingChapaa=false, actor.points += 1.

I actually read recently that they use the same type of servers as fortnite... and that is why we have the issue with maximum items allowed on our lots.. which makes sense because when I play lego fortnite, I can only build so much on each "server" i make... that has actually been an ongoing argument for a LONG time.

However, implying that the issues could easily be fixed by one person with some spare time is an oversimplification. Just the other day, the servers were down for like 12 hours because the devs were trying to fix something. People at S6 were working and communicating with us (albeit sporadically) for like 15 hours. If it was so easy to fix, what were they doing that whole day? I think the issues could and should have been fixed by now, but it's disrespectful to imply that the devs just aren't trying.

Let me copy & paste one of the things I said when storms were raging after the recent hotfix:

It's okay to be positive and want to support the devs. It is also valid to be critical of what is going on and the state of things even if this is a free game. Some people go all "it's a free game, you shouldn't complain", but while it is a free-to-play they are trying to provide a product for profit. For that to work in a game that wants to focus on community the way this one supposedly does there needs to be paying players to support the free players, but also free players to support the paying players. Free players help round out the population for paying players too, free players can also provide valid feedback, and even showing frustration at the state of the game is just as valid if it comes from a paying or a free player. If they want players to pay for their skins and thus be profitable, free players too need to be respected and treated like customers to create an inviting enough atmosphere to transition some of them to pay. So free players should absolutely have a right to be frustrated with the game.

I do a partially agree, although - personal opinion - I do think "it's in beta" is being thrown around way too much as a "get out of jail free" card. Had this been marked as a pre-alpha or alpha, then maybe, but not beta. The state it is in is worrying, and it feels like it is suffering from massive feature creep barely halfway out of beta. Not expecting perfection, far from it, but the amount of regressions per patch is scary. This isn't a hobbyist sitting in his basement opening the Unreal Engine editor for the first time, it is a professional company.

They have to be anchored to the ground somehow. So if you float the builders floor and you want it inside the anchor the floor is floating off needs to be on the grass outside the house

i have placed three floors in a step formation upon blocks anchored to the ground and yes, i can't place any crafting items or chests upon those floors... so that's by design?

sorry i tried to google it but all the results are about how to glitch items to the front of your plot in purpose 🤣

That will be because although you initially anchored the first floor block to the ground outside the ones on top aren't actually anchored to the ground.....they are attached to the previous placed floor. Whichever floor you place crafters on has to be directly anchored to the ground. Chest though dont seem to even like that
