Yeah, rarer critters give higher xp when caught. Also, keep your focus bar full and be sure your focus bonus is upgraded too!

Hm I do believe that rare/epic bugs give lots of XP, but it's also dependent on how maxed out your Focus Bar is too. Are you using renown at the Phoenix and Dragon Shrines? :O

Yes, so the Phoenix Shrine where you materialized is where you can go to use earned Renown to extend your Focus Bar, and then the Dragon Shrine in Maji's Hollow (also in Kilima) will help out too. I can never remember which is which, but either way, the goal is to have both maxed out so that you have 100% extra added XP etc :O

theres 2 (that i know of) places to spend renown. at the dragon shrine for more focus capacity, and at the phoenix shrine for more focus efficiency (bigger bonus exp)

Basically, just keep playing as you have--maybe take up a quest or two if you are eager to spend some Renown, or you can simply focus on leveling up a skill, etc.

At this point, unless they decide to add a few 5-minute quests scattered through updates until Elderwoods I think we're stuck with this. Other than using the market as an objective it's just either setting goals for yourself (like deciding you'll make a specifically themed plot that will take time) or if you find friends in game or here on Discord start setting challenges for each other. It's not as good as actual objectives in-game, might not be what works for you, but only thing I know of once you've done current story.

We've seen over time where things that weren't placeable became placeable, likely because the playerbase expressed enthusiasm/love for the ideas of select things being placeable. As noted before, burnt starred food wasn't placeable and then became placeable, starred starstones weren't a thing until a few months later too.

Aye, that we have. But we've also seen issues be present for months and months and still no change, and things that should have been possible to place somewhere not be placeable without glitches (or at all), books can only be placed upright still, teleporting trees, fences are still a nightmare to place, the disappearing of the arcade cabinet that "apparently is still available and as it should be" according to support, and so on.

They've done many good things, but also failed in many places, so I'd rather not expect that "maybe" and be pleasantly surprised if they do it than fill my chest with goodies in anticipation and be let down yet again.

That's fair. Life services can be a nightmare to deal with on the dev/backend side... but there's also so many issues in this game that can't be attributed to its live service nature. I just have lost a lot of faith in both in S6 (and management/parties with decision powers) and just a lot of current games development in general. Just one disappointment after the other for years now.

I can imagine. They seems to have been in a rather pressured situation from what I've understood, so I suppose they had to make cuts and might not have been many other places to cut from. I play on PC and see other players and the chappas appear then disappear, sink into the ground and if anyone can get 10 chapaas for their card it's a miracle. Spamming the F button to try and grab them is insane and may work less than 50% of the time. Please fix Chapaa Chase game or let us know it is a known issue. Thanks
