Hey! Welcome back. Not sure how long of a break you took, but you can find Patch Notes highlights in #📢│palia-news!

Most recently, they introduced Home Tours, which is a feature that you can use to tour other player's homes (without having to be their friend or be on their plot). Of course, you can also list your own home plot for others to explore (there are in-game achievements tied to them; more can be read on the green Tour Board, which sits across your blue board that you use to visit friends on your home plot).

They've introduced a whole lot more plushies for Sernuks, Muujin, and Chapaas now (hunt these creatures for a chance of plushie drops), as well as plushies for select insects, including the new funny lil set of Potato Pods (collectible plushies only earnable at this time by login rewards). Insects also drop flower seeds too so you can now grow wild flowers on your own plot.

A few Level 5 friendships have been added for certain characters. You can now romance Hodari (in case your break goes that far back).

Trading is in the future. And um, Elderwoods, a new map, is to be released in early 2025! :O

you know how people have a ton of luck getting marlin at the island you can glide to from the lighthouse? (no idea if you’ve struggled with this one so much you looked it up, but that is the consensus. same with flametongue in Maji’s hollow.)

when i needed ray, i randomly decided to test the same sort of idea and now get it p often in the same spot. if you go to the northernmost side of the map on the beach, there’s a little island you can glide out to. cast out towards the sea. continually get stingray the second cast when i go there (again, ymmv.)

For me, that character would be Elouisa. There are things/critters on her want list that I haven’t seen in-game, much less collected. (Granted, I’m a newbie, so there’s that.) So, she sometimes goes unsatisfied for the week. Take this week, for example—ship fragments, paddlefish, energized piranha, flametongue ray. Four nopes in a row! 😂

yeah, sorry i’m not being clear. the ray is only in kilima. the blue marlin is only in bahari. if you look up how to get the blue marlin, the first thing you’ll probably see is a post about flying to that island from the lighthouse. i just decided to take the same concept (bc that’s where i got my marlin for bundles) and apply it to fishing for other rarities. so there’s an island off the Kilima coast, tiny outcropping you have to climb to jump to, and i get it there regularly when people ask how to get it and it’s where i got it.
