I think they do this to help players who are on separate maps. There's a schedule to the NPCs, but being able to be in both places makes it so you don't have to wait specifically for that time for them to show or some such :O

Also if you went to bahari via kilima and saw Hodari at the gate it would be possible that while you are in the loading screen between maps that he just walks through and to the mines. I imagine NPC's dont get trapped in loading screens lol

If they didn't do that players could also prevent certain NPCs from getting to the other map or their rooms and whatnot by players constantly talking to them so they never move.

I know folks are super excited about Elderwoods and all to come in 2025, but I am also hoping that there are plans to rebuild the Community Management team (and all that comes with it like the Shepp program, etc.). Our mods have been incredibly strong without the official support of CMs (still don't know how they do it), but they also still deserve that support, especially as the server grows (with the upcoming updates and so on).
