sometimes game glitches are just fantastic to watch. I was hunting a tree dog, no climbable trees too close, watch him crouch and jump into a tree waaaay on the other side of the river. Magical Jumping tree dogs.

You can change your characters look at a wardrobe at any time. I think you can fully customize the character (like switch gender?) with the mirror in the sewing store?

I sent a ticket to the devs through their website to ask if they'd reset my progress (I had been away for like... 6ish months), which deleted my character so I could remake them. All premium purchases and items (from twitch drops and linking switch to the account) stayed, so I didn't lose that.

I think it's limited to once every 6 months, but I only realized about 2 weeks ago that there's a mirror where you can change your appearance, so that was neat 🤣

The Switch may not be a toaster, but even acnh islands with a ton of items or too many trees would stutter/lag. And that game was developed by Nintendo, for Nintendo. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but making a game like Palia flow seamlessly on the Switch likely isn’t very simple.

Honestly the fact that it can run the games it does run is good enough for me. I've played anything from special edition Skyrim to the new LoZ games to Palia, so I'm just glad the thing even exists! Hope they make better systemic decisions with the second gen.

That’s great! As many players point out on a daily basis, Palia doesn’t even run seamlessly on PC for everyone. So the fact that it runs at all on Switch is a win imo 😂

I think you get lucky with timing also, in my first week I got 20 votes maybe, but the next week I uploaded my plot & advertised in here almost immediately after the weekly refresh & got 400+ votes from that single advertisement - I must have got enough votes early on in the week to be put on the trending list?

I don't think there's anything wrong with voting for a mostly empty plot because as someone already said, it could be a newer player or maybe someone who doesn't love decorating and just wants the nameplates. However, I do think that S6 needs to find a way to balance the voting a bit or make the goals more achievable for players who are not streamers and therefore do not have a huge following.

Partying up doesn't give you a boost to get more plushies, but you'll cover more ground since you and your party members share loot. So odds are you can probably get a hold of a plushie a little faster that way, but it's still all RNG 🙃

She got the azure loot but somehow didn’t get the plush. It’s been so weird; I’ve missed out on plushes (idc about plushes) apparently while hunting with parties to get other people plushes. Ive gotten chaapa plushes from loot I was absolutely certain someone was within 20m of me but they didn’t get a plush in it. I’ve been for whatever reason kicked from my own party momentarily, RNG decided my former but then again party members got a plush, and I didn’t just bc I was for whatever reason kicked then not.
