You're better off using a buzzy jar and running a loop around pulse plains, up to Pavel, and down to hideaway. Use a buzzy jar and scare off or catch all the normal bugs.

I can totally see them making more PVE combat part of the main story, especially with || the staff in the nightsky temple||

player combat is completely excluded, I don’t see them ever adding that, apart from PvP in terms of cardgames like hotpot or other minigames

hunting is PvE combat as well, the huntables don't attack but maybe the elderwoods ones will "attack" back with debuffs bcs the zone seems to be more dangerous with all the flow etc.

You don't get flow tree seeds from chopping wild flow trees, by the way. You get them from the ||ancient galdaur statue|| which is a bundle completion reward, then you have to complete the quest ||a Gardeners New Oneness|| to get the chance for the statue to drop one tree seed a day
