Serious question. I've been struggling with the Giant kilima stingray. First of all i try to find that fish for 6 days already (spent at least 6 hours every day) and only had him on the rope for 3 times. All good its a rare fish but what did they give him that it takes literally 3 seconds max for the rope to rip apart. Like i never had those problems fishing a fish. Is there someone who could give me a tip or something because im at the point of quitting the game because im tired and frustrated because of that giant kilima stingray...

i suggest you get the major safe zone buffer hook (5 coins from Einar) and also make some fishermans brew on the campfire to drink as well

I don't really use Major safe zone boost from Einar, but at least you need to have a couple fishing buff from food to do it easier

the hook does have durability so maybe pick up a few. you can also eat sashimi and sushi as well but these are not completely necessary

the safezone buffer is best fishing buff there is imo

There is a way to cheat it by using the game mechanic if you don't want to use all your fishing medal.
Buy the major safe zone but don't equip it.
When the fish bite you can choose not to reel it(start minigame). It will be always same fish, just wait a little for that to trigger again.
Try to observe what fish it is, if it is a kilima ray, equip the booster and wait for it to bite again.
Fish Stew - Safe zone speed
Sushi - Recovery boost
Sashimi(expensive imo) - Major rod health boost
Brew - minor safe zone boost
PS: STAR QUALITY will retain, tested many times before

i used to always play an archer/ranger until 1 day our DM said we all making new characters and we cannot be a race or class we have ever been before. most of us pretty annoyed as we had all got into our "comfort characters" but in the end i went with a Gnomish Arcane Trickster with a pet black squirrel and honestly its the best character i ever played (the others in the group feel the same about their new characters too)
