and how do you know the next patch is not gonna have tons of QoL stuff for long term established players? by making the game more accessible and easier for new players to get stuck in this is not a punishment to existing players. i know the struggles i had when i first started back in August and if they can improve the game and make it less painful for new players i am all for that and that is infact one of the reasons we are even playing the game in the first place so they can eventually get to the best version of Palia they can when it goes live. are you really missing out on a few extra items from the chests - if so request them and ill fulfil them

Lots of new players were frustrated quite early on. I'm very happy it's been addressed. A lot of things in the game have changed over time, and some of us have a longer view on that than others. But the longevity of the game is important. Player retention is important. I can't get mad at QoL changes for less experienced players. 💗

If they don’t attract new players the game might not survive much longer. Balancing things to make it more worthwhile for players and getting them to invest in the game by buying something is the only way the game will survive. I like the game. But they do need to make money or we will never see more of what they have planned.

I've been playing for almost a year and I don't feel like I've missed out at all with any patch - in fact I feel privileged to have been able to play for so long and embrace every improvement. I don't feel hard done by or cheated out of anything. As a late game player, there's plenty in this patch that benefits me directly and anything that doesn't, still benefits me in ensuring that there's a robust player base still growing to enjoy many months more (Basically, thank you S6 :p )

i think the fact that the game creates so much passion in people is amazing and just shows how bright of a future it can have, but yes i agree people do need to sometimes thing about how the words they type can be oft misinterpreted and misunderstood. no one is perfect its not easy to convey intent and emotion over text message and the delays in chat can also impact that as well. ultimately everyone should be nice and treat others how you wanna be treated and always follow the number one rule

You can romance all of the available npcs at the same time if you want you but you can only show two of those ... things ... at a time on your character. (Don't want to give too many spoilers) Up to you how quickly or how slowly you go about this. Bonus for completing each one too that you can use to decorate your house <3

Be patient everyone, patches do take time to do and as I mentioned earlier the larger a patch is the longer it will take. Other games it can take a 8+ hrs before a game goes live after a patch. So just be patient.
