If you select mostly fire type replies during npc chats/quests etc, the game will associate you with Fire types. I didn't even know this early on and tended to reply with water type responses. Which the game has me as a water type now. Which is great because I am irl too :P

I understand it is, I guess, a homage to a real life culture, but I kind of get tired of the prejudice of real world. It does yes. But ... Many religious groups DO permit their spiritual guides to have a family. Palia does a really good job of trying to represent as many flavors as possible. So it won't shock me if they 1. Make Chayne romanceable, or 2. Bring in another guide type who will be romanceable from the start. Ashura is a guide type. Very much so. Players want him as partner too

I don't think that really plays much into it and I understand the whole 'older brother to sickly sister orphan life' and I don't think theres anything wrong with that. || It's really the dialog leaning really hard into the self-depreciation, it starts to become a lot to deal with for a game for me anyway. I think what was most disappointing for me was that his romance quest lines were nearly identical to his friendship ones and the very first quest is him bailing on the date he made with the player. By the time I finished the entire romance line, I didn't feel like there was any kind of actual romance there.|| With all of that said, Reth's romance line is the only one I've done so I can't say how it compares to any of the others.

Again I'm just looking at it from a gaming perspective, it's just not very fun when that's all there is to it and it never actually changes or gets better, and you have to HEAR it just trying to talk to them for anything.

Everyone has their nuance, and trauma. Some more than others. Some have just never been loved fully, and have a hard time embracing it. Some feel like their situation in life is a burden on others. Some just feel like they are just not their own cup of tea and cannot see how others feel that way. It is hard, relationships are hard. That's really only one example though. I know the feeling, I've been there, but sometimes a game company will only last based on how much it's supported in the beginning. If you only played for a year and a half of two years, that means that last 6 months, you and probably others got bored. It was a dead game two years in. Take two years with Palia and see if maybe it's different.

My solution: Join a party and then select to visit them from the party member list.

This is on switch. If anyone has this issue, here is a temporary solution. I submitted a bug fix ticket for it. If you habe the same issue make sure you voice it so they can fix it. It only started happening to me since the "hotfixes" were released.

We also know Hodari ||has some mobility issues and chronic pain from the mining and doesn't always find it easy to get around but still wants to be social|| and Hassian ||hates people but still wants a place to belong|| so their daily trips back and forth make perfect sense while still having their homes further away ||because Hassian wants to be on the fringes and Hodari has the mine and wants Najuma to be comfy||

Do you use hotkeys? That's a game changer, especially for the bugs that spawn after an interaction. I have bow keyed to middle mouse and belt to the back button on the mouse. Everything else is numpad. I haven't used to tool wheel in ages.

You actually don't have to bring your stuff with you to cook at others plots. It pulls right from your own storage, and you can also access your storage from other people's chests
