I have 7 canners for the maters, and 7 seeders for the taters. I also have 10 glow worm farms

Hi Samantha! Flow wood can be obtained from flow-infused trees, which are spawned randomly throughout Bahari. Every in-game midnight, a flow grove spawns (cluster of flow treees), rendering up to as many as 8 or 9 trees, and as low as 2 trees. Small and medium flow trees can be cut solo. Larger trees require one or more people to fully bring it down. If you don't have time to stick around grove times, you can spawn these trees yourself by cutting down a number of trees, but this takes a lot of patience, and inventory space (!). At any rate, flow wood can then be placed in the sawmill and turned into planks (or if you have Ashura's guild shop unlocked, you can purchase flow planks for several medals--not worth it though in my opinion since grinding guild medals takes a lot of effort too). Both wood and planks can be used/crafted in recipes such as arrows and furniture. C:

the way I see it, adding combat wouldn't be a "qol" update, it'd be an entirely new mechanic/game loop that would have to be written from the ground up, coded, rendered, animated, and learned by users, with rules, consequences, and related items to consider, and it would require considerable mapping for controls to make it fit into the current gameplay smoothly - and even then, it wouldn't be "smooth enough" for some players.

A qol update is like changing recipes to use less of some ingredient or making it easier to traverse the environment that already exists lol, to add combat would make it a different game entirely

I don’t know if this is the right channel to ask this, but what actually happens after someone becomes your Shepp? Does it just change some dialogue, or should I actually be more selective on who I ask? It comes across as an important decision for the PC, but is it actually important, functionally?

You get a special cut scene, and then during some of the seasonal events there's been a bit of extra dialogue with your Shepp. Otherwise, it hasn't seemed to make much of an impact on my gameplay... yet (who knows what'll happen with Level 5 quests?)

Storage capacity increases with x8 chests

You can purchase storage upgrades at the till at the back counter in Tish's shop.
This is my tired brain helping.
While you only get 8 chests and 3 lockboxes, those 8 upgraded chests will eventually give you 10k slots of storage in addition to the maximum 300 lockbox slots.

You can craft and place more storage boxes on other plots as access points this is correct

There was a bug before where chests on other plots counted as more storage space and THAT was patched out

Access points makes sense because you can have several plots and in fact they expect it since it's how you unlock the gazebo and 8 chests would not be enough to spread out for convinience
