I think the important part about exp is keeping your focus full. All the time. Carry a stack of foods when doing something. Enough to keep it topped off <----

There are different species of each animal, and the tougher ones give more XP for a kill, with the magic varients offering the most

Unless it's changed, you shouuld be able to check by looking at how much your skill points change to see if its different. You can hover over the hunting skill icon, see how many points are there, take down a chapaa, and then see how much the bar increases.

To my understanding, players can have it set to Open so anyone on the server can pop in

I'm not sure what the actual despawn timer is set to, but it is similar to rare forage, which gives you a few minutes.
The node will flash as it gets closer to despawning, but if you hit the node you will not see this!
Be sure to fully smash the rock so you don't miss out.

yeah, I've played around with a bunch of layouts, some more "profitable" than others, but also more annoying/harder to manage. Finding the balance is tricky, and I'm still playing around with hte best garden layout for me

I personally like to keep about 50 of each star ingredient on hand, since that's the biggest cookingparty I can tolerate. Otherwise, there's some tables somewhere that show the best profit for each ingredient, in terms of seeds/preserves/straight selling

Some seeds are definitely more profitable to sell than others! e.g. the cabage is a good one to sell. Tomatoes are currently more profitable to jam than to sell as a seeds or tomates

The requests get sent to everyone on your server, kinda like if you went to craiglist/gum tree or to nextdoor and saw someone posting a mutual aid request. I kinda like it personally; there's no pressure to respond to the request though. It's ent to everyone on the same server

Though it could be a number of things for you, for me specifically, it was because I had too much furniture and stacks of hundreds of crafted fences that was causing this severe lag/connectivity issue. Once I removed all the excess furniture and crafted fences onto an empty plot, I found my gameplay much smoother. Anyway, I hope you get it figured out soon.

I have a bunch of folders dedicated to Palia, being broken up by art, memes, projects I've worked on, and other bits and bobs I've collected since 2021. And every now and I then, I save something twice or, worse, do it with two different filenames. So when I need it, there's a solid chance I can't find it.

only for muujin fans. I, for one, adore the paltech pieces and flotsam piles (even if they give me junk like stones every day), and the new changes to nodes are just soooo nice

Not just storage. We are in SERIOUS need of more inventory space. Like ... why not a dedicated tools/gear space? Split up inventory like they do storage

they did mention that making the ammo pouches (a separate inventory for ammo) was turning out to be more complicated than they thought
