I think the Temple got borked with the Switch release(?) which was I think, december. I don't like that it took this long for it to be fixed.

anyone dealing with HDR in Advanced graphic settings not sticking? there's no confirmation button to push to accept changes, to when you try to exit out of settings, it asks you to confirm if you want to discard the changes.... there's not an option to save changes unless you fiddle with the resolution (which is a huge pain in this game)

I get that everytime i change a setting and have noticed you have to click back to the first tab and then hit the esc key to get it to save

so i had a similar issue with my FoV seeting, and to get it to read the change i clicked the "Window" secondary tab, then the "Gameplay Settings" main tab. hit esc, then click resume and it saved my FoV, try that and let me know. also i have to change FoV on login everytime still, just a heads up.

One thing that's useful is that your pins always show up on your compass. So if you pin a fasttravel point you can say how far it is from that even if you're more that 100m away.

I see palium spawning in top of Pavel Mines (and in the shaft) every now and then. And S. Flooded Fortress (but not in the area they used to be). So they definitely still spawn there, just, rarely, like Tamala's cave and Hideaway Bluffs and the Windy Ruins underground caverns.

Not the geyser though, that's pretty much empty except for like one node that always seems to be a small rock node. And yeah a few nodes in pavel, but they're kind of part of the rest of the mine instead of being "part of the farming route". That's how my brain interprets it, at least xD

I submitted feedback that it would be nice if those spawn locations had an elevated spawn rate compared to everywhere else. I think the reason they got rid of the old system was that people could exploit a requirement that there were a minimum number of nodes on the map, so if you had a party of everyone camping the spawn locations it would go crazy. That only mattered after they added the star stones since the ore and bars weren't worth much.

Yeah, I pretty much have to use fine arrows. If you sneak up behind your target and shoot from the back, you can do more damage. It's harder once they spot you.

The white chapaa is really easy if you sneak up on it with your bow drawn. If you don't shoot until you get close enough to scare it and it splits you just need one hit with a dispel arrow to stun it in place.

The first few times I hunted the white chappa I thought he was impossible to kill without a group. Once you get used to his movement, and wait for the split and dispel him for the stun... he's not bad. Just takes a bit of practice.
