Depends on your playing style, I usually only take one or two to bahari if I'm really looking for mining items, but also I've had super successful runs without ever touching the ore compass! I find the ores used to be more close together/prevalent so it might be easier to use the compass these days 🤔 haven't logged a lot of time post patch!

the issue for ore compass imo is silver rarity. since it’s by far more rare than anything else, using it to find other ore seems…. idk. even using it to find silver is unlikely to net enough silver to replace with one compass

I gotta say: The fact that they said the patch was going to take a week, then rushed it in for two days, and now they're having complex server issues, shows that they should have taken that week to work on the patch, instead of rushing :< Not trying to be mean, but, I would have preferred waiting for the patch, over getting something half-baked. Hopefully this is something they remember for future patches, as the game is still in beta. A lesson learned is very valuable, after all.
