I actually like that most everything in this game has a sound.. I walk the beaches of Bahari blindfolded, and know if I'm about to pick up an unopened oyster or a junk shell. I stalk Bambi's Dad by the sound of his teleporting, and even find neat little hidden things because they make a sound. I just WISH we had some placeable decorative objects that made sounds as well, other than the noisy squeek of the windmill

I've seen that happen, I think. Or else it was a visual glitch. A lot of people didn't get it at first, and I blame the instructions really. The picture does a lot more than the words. It's just a little confusing, but once you get it, it's a simple game - simple, meaning the rules are not complex and there are no "tricks" or special-case exceptions, unlike things like Chess, where 95% of those who play cannot explain a pawn's capture en passant, or have ever used it.

There is a measure of luck, for sure, but the AI-players have the combined IQ of a banana, so they don't even count. That just leaves a little bit of player-to-player tickery, like holding 4 of a particular card you only want 3 of, then throwing #4 to make people think you're not interested in that card/color, so they discard what you need to win.

I call out resources a lot less nowadays, if it’s a rare plant sure, but Palium I just don’t call out anymore because it’s just so slow I have to repeat myself like three times before anybody says anything and there are a lot of times that once I do the first person that arrives there breaks it immediately

That Bat ray is very predictable, cause it’ll move slightly forward with you then it’ll jump in the air so you stop, follow it well in the air, move it slightly forward, stop prematurely, reel it in more, follow it while it’s in the air again, and Rinse and repeat

The first idea I have is very simple and may sound condescending but it's not, make sure its not your character in the way. The player hitbox is larger than you think, and unpredictable.
My second idea, take your main house and rotate the whole thing. Place it back down, try adding your room, and then turn it back.
This fixes it sometimes, it's worth a try
