I know there's people with over 1000 in cooking alone, their player level is far higher than that because 8 skills, so I know each skill can go past 1000. idk what the overall cap actually is but I doubt the skills have different max caps

it's up to you what that means to you, but if maxing skills was your only goal it's not really... going to be an easy thing. afaik no one has found a hard cap per skill at least yet.

Maxing stats was not the only goal, but I like to reach an endgame cap in any game I play, which in MMOs means looking forward to a cap raise in the next major update or expansion.

It greatly reduces my desire to play because it means you will never truly reach endgame because there's no ceiling. It takes away value from all the work you do.

The other goals mean little if I can only complete them but not complete the game as a whole up-to-current update.

Anyways, I'm just glad I learned this before spending money on the game since I was about to buy better clothes from the shop next week.
