yup, it happens when they find an obstacle in their "pre-calculated path" its like they trigger an exception and teleport to a random location "x" feet away from their position

Only thing annoying for me is that I forget trees aren’t real. Saw a sernuk approach as I was mining so I equipped my bow and aimed at the end of the tree where I knew their face would emerge a few seconds later. The arrow was caught in some edge of the tree even though it wasn’t close to the tree and the cross hair was exactly on the sernuks eye when I let go 😒

You can meet people by chatting in game or in discord, in order to play, being on the same server is kinda a requirement so if you are in bahari joining some of the things people call out can help you meet folks. I'm not sure what platform you play on so I can't tellyou how to fish

Well, go to a raised platform right under "Thorny Thicket" and cut the trees there. Muujin can't escape that platform. If you're a bit lucky, there's a magic one there too 🙂

when a Muujin climbs into a tree, the game don't count them as "spawned prey" so another muujin appears (there's a limit but i don't know which limit) you end with dozens of magic muujins and blue striped ones because no one wants to hunt them

so players startle them -> they climb on a tree -> another muujin spawns -> rinse and repeat
