focus doesn't affect catch rate etc, it's simply there to get levels faster and if you don't need medals or trophies (after lvl 10) focus has no use other than the achieves

One question I have is about Harvest quantities. Here's the situation: I have an APPLE tree that is growth boosted permanently (by plants beside) and I add HarvestBoost fertilizer religiously on the plant for the entire duration of its lifespan. Most of the time I get 24 apples but every so often I get 16 apples, most often as the "last harvest" before the tree disappears. Is this normal? If I am consistently Harvest Boosting it shouldn't it always yield the same amount of apples?

For my other plans like blueberries, tomatoes etc they always yield the exact same amount. I am gardening level 54 now.

I have biked to work most of this year in -20 to -30 C. Don't recommend.

I, who prefers cold weather, stayed inside, as much as possible. Mostly due to fear of slipping on the ice and breaking something.
