Just set frame rate limit to a sensible FPS in Settings > Graphics > Advanced > Frame Rate Limit. Mine's on 240 because I have a 240hz monitor. And see if that cools it down

I just checked mine, its at 73C in my home plot and I have a really well ventilated PC case. My card is rated for 120C so I'm not worried. My girlfriend is an IT specialist and I asked her for the advice before I relayed it to you guys. Also these are summer/aussie temps... and if your ventilation isnt as good or your pc is working overtime to crank out frames it doesnt need, this could be the cause.

We used to get together to farm flow, but groves basically killed that, and we used to get together to mine, but the new palium spawns have killed that, and we used to have cake parties but they nerfed that. So yeah.

Emeralds I think are only in copper or more likely to be in copper nodes

But they are pretty rare. I mine A LOT and the drops form copper are almost all quartz and citrine for me

I mean, you can still farm Flow Trees outside of the grove spawns, and cake parties are still good from what I can tell

People complained about the little flow they got from normal gameplay, so they added flow groves. Nothing is stopping you from doing flow runs as is, flow groves after all only spawn at midnight.

And some flow groves are also pretty bad, see flooded fortress

We used to form parties though and spend hours together deforesting an area to spawn flow, talking and joking etc, now it’s a couple minutes at a grove and everyone scatters.

I think we’re in an in between where a lot of the players that started a while back don’t bother with flow. And the newer players may not be able to hit or don’t really know about it

I think the real thing that needs to happen is more focused group content. Flow groves is a good direction, but things like fishing competitions, fetes/fairs to sell things at together, fulfilling town requests as a community, mining minigames, etc etc...

Don't chop or mine all there is on your home plot if you want to keep some of it as decoration, none of it will respawn, you can plant tree seeds you get out in the open zones but they have a fixed size, no variation there.

When I saw you could place decorations on the christmas tree, or open a candle holder and put something inside it then close the door... You can rotate wall art, put things on top of cupboards and on shelves... it's really well done. I hope they expand on it.

I just know every time someone personally and subjectively says "x ruined y" in a filed ticket, they remove that content to install the suggested new one said rando player thought would work best and everyone dislikes that. Case in point palium and running animation. So be careful when asking for sometbing specific its actually for everyone and not what you personally want before filing a ticket.

I wish I could rotate some stuff around other axis too, like that leafy wall decor. And while there is that one candle holder a lot of other things sadly don't allow you to do that. I have a wall shelf in my kitchen that is completely empty.

The ore compass shows you iron nodes too. Which in itself aren't very hard to find if you ask me. I'd prefer if it only showed Palium. The way it works now it's rather useless to me.

I dont think the sifuu can be done ): so far there seems to be 2 rules for romance content

1. Players who romance a character shouldnt have access to more stuff than players who arent romancing that character
2. Players should have free reign to constantly romance or break up with people without major gameplay or story consequences

Sifuu interested players getting their request would mean breaking these rules and most of the playerbase isnt gonna like that

Or that you wouldn't be able to have free reign over romancing and breaking up with people. After all ||Kenyatta and Naj'o have been romancing each other too. Yet we can still romance both. And we can romance both Tish and Reth, who are siblings.||

I only get headaches because of the art style. However FFXIV makes my brain hurt due to the old PlayStation 2 graphics (same for Pokemon X and Y). I think once you start playing games with the newest graphics, older graphics start to be nausea inducing.

People who arent romancing sifuu are gonna complain sifuu is getting special treatment, new maps, new items or more lore basically. Itd be like the palium nodes all over again but with romance, where a portion of the playerbase gets their wish granted and everyone else doesnt. Fixing it would mean its all characters get new content or none do, and if its all characters, people who arent romancing anyone are gonna complain theyre being left out on content and feel forced to choose after being told they wouldnt have to romance anyone if they didnt want to, and people who arent romancing everyone are gonna feel forced they have to romance everyone if they want special content. Then people who want a no stress relaxing game are gonna complain, etc. Basically, the balancing would be so hard it might be not worth nor made a priority.

long story short people are always gonna complain regardless? XD there is more lore, areas like Elderwood and other stuff to be added one way or another, because that's the game progression for you. I doubt any map is gonna be tied specifically to one character. Might be more tied to their lore than others, but well, wait for lets say Bahari city, and you'll just see the Eshe's, Zeki's and Kenli's lore being more prominent too. Characters are meant to be somehow connected to the world, that's how writing a proper world lore and compelling game design works.

Maybe in a sequel. It can already be tricky enough to have any meaningful chronological progression in MMOs as is, see Guild Wars 2. If you play the areas in it "wrong" or miss out on seasonal content you can get confused in it to a good degree.

Yeah, but the very first thing they said is that they wouldnt hide game breaking content behind romance quests so people who dont want to romance anyone dont feel pressured on missing something just because theh arent o: atm people who arent romancing anyone are missing out on a few decor items, pins that only get you 1 or 2 comments, and thats it. New maps usually integrate characters for extra content, like how the temples do, to make sure its available to everyone.

And this decision was made exclusively because the gsme is said to be inclusive and non-stressin. It forces it to keep the love relationship tame and invest more in the frienship.

the only thing people are missing by not romancing someone is a pin and a picture of romanced character, which is... fair, because why would you get a picture of a character that isnt your partner all up on your wall? You might be friends, sure, i guess. Though, personally, still would feel weird and the pictures aren't that good looking either way. So again, I don't see how adding romance to Sifuu would break or lock anything.

I think S6 shouldn't do that. I submitted a feedback to them like a day after they announced/introduced Subira that having her presumably only temporarily is a really bad idea. It (1.) is a waste of development resources, (2.) creates FOMO and (3.) will anger players. For the longest of time people wanted to have that Living World Season 1 content from Guild Wars 2 (which was temporary) made available to (re)play later on. If I have seen right they eventually did that, but it took them forever and apparently many years of complaining from players. And now S6 is trying to do same? Bad idea.

You can connect your Palia account to twitch from the main Palia site in connections. Then watch a twitch stream that has “drops” enabled. You can see the timer on twitch and collect when it’s at 100%. Then you collect in game in the news section

You can sorta still keep track of what you've gotten if you temporarily add your starred bugs / fish / food into your inventory and then back out again to light them back up in their achievement lists. But it IS only temporary and they'll black out again next time you log into the game. It DOES still keep track behind the scenes though that I've noticed and is just a visual bug.

If you're struggling to do it alone or with a dedicated group - you can try and do it ||around flow groves or flow trees. Any normal muujin that jumps into a flow tree becomes a blue/magical one. If people pay some attention they'll probably fire arrows at them too once the respective flow tree is chopped down. And yes, slow arrows can help, the green cloud basically marks them as a target for everyone else.||

Fun fact about hunting: slow arrows are the most useful ( in my opinion) when hunting, because the slow is so effective all animals that don't die in 1 shot are much easier to track and hit while im slow motion. Also, the best way to kill the flow chapaa is with a slow arrow not a dispell one. When hit wit slow arrow only the original chapaa will be slow and the mirror images that are fake will run away further so you can distinguish them easier.

The only animals that need a dispell arrow are the disco raindeer and the flash wolf XD

Actually they fixed the chapaa so the dispel prevents him from splitting at all as was originally intended, and you can take it down in about 2-3 arrows.

Just my personal preference, if I have to hit a moving target I prefer it be a single target. For me now, I find the dispels easier for that reason. I used slows though before when the dispel arrows basically didn’t work on them.
